Awesome I was hoping you or someone one do a vid for this. I never got to play on mischief and have tried looking at one of those loot tables but really wonder about recommendations from people who actually played on what the best random loot camps are. Especially high end 45 - 60 range

I never played EQ but I sunk over an entire year gametime into EQ2. Most games measure your gameplay in hours but EQ2 would measure gameplay in days, months and years.

I was the other way around, except instead of dabbling in EQ2, I did WoW for a bit when my Guild pretty much abandoned EQ for it, just as we were doing end-game OoW, DoN, DoDH, TSS, TBS, and SoF stuff. I think I played WoW for maybe 6 months, but couldn't stand it; way too cartoonish for me. Went back to EQ until my computer died, grew away from it for...jeez, 15 years? But I couldn't stay away. I even dreamt in EQ. lol

@@brianmurphy6480 Man I used to love that game. I never play EQ but my little brother bought EQ2 on Launch in 2004 and we both instantly got hooked on it. I played it from 2004-'11. In the later years I was in a raiding guild. We were the #2 Guild on the server. The first few years my main was a Bruiser and it was great for what I loved which was soling stuff and PvP. Later when I joined a raid guild I switched to an Illusionist since that class is vital for a good Raid Guild. Brawlers are pretty useless for raiding but having Feign Death let's you explore area's no other solo character could even get to. Cheers!

@@brianmurphy6480 My other brother (youngest) didn't take to EQ2 like my other brother and I did. Instead he dove all in on playing WoW which he still plays sometimes to this day. In 2007 I gave WoW a real shot playing it exclusively for 6 months. I didn't like how the cooldown timers worded compared to Everquest so that's why I switched back.

You are a little off on the level of nameds that are grouped. The groups are: 1-10, 11-15, 16-20, 21-25. 26-30, 31-35, 36-40, 41-45, 46-50, 51-55 and 56-60. This means that only the 2 strathbones, reaver and Xalgox in Kaesora can drop the CoS. While the 2 librarians, raider and ravener are in the lvl31-35 group (this group also includes the clicky Goblin Earring from Grachnist in WW).

You can also do /target gorge ravener, bind sight, then calm everything

That works nice too, but you need to be fast or have a group member help target your target and pacify them.

0:58 Evil classes cannot go through Cabalis (without Invis). You'll be KoS as a DE Necro, Ogre, Troll, etc. Only Iksars would be able to go through Cabalis.

Ahh, you might be right. I remember trying to bind a melee guy near Kurns tower and not being able to, but now they have bindable areas within zones so worth a try.

I ran a test a few weeks ago and Xal's fangs can drop from several mobs there. I haven't had the jade prod drop for me from any mobs in kaesora yet but i would think they're on the loot table as well. I'll have to do some more testing.

​​@@doctornachoz8099 i did in fact loot a CoS from Strathbone runelord, the spider close to the top like your heading back out. It was on mischief recently so it was the nerfed version but he should drop the prenerf one just the same. I think it can only drop from 3 or 4 named there as they have to be at minimum 35 or 36 not sure on the exact number.

Sorry, the Xal fangs only can drop from nameds 35 or 36 on the minimum range. The CoS I think has a different level range that drops it. Strathbone runelord is where I got both Xal's fangs and a CoS

Best spot for your first weapon that has a random loot is qeynos sewers.
