Everything is camped? Can't find a group? Nobody want's to group with you? Feel like quitting? Now you can use this quests to level up at your own pace, when you want, how you want. Never leave the zone until you are done!

Don't feel bad about the fire beetle eye, I can't tell you how many times I've forgotten I need an eye for my spell, and druid was my first class ever from day one of playing.

Imagine how powerful that druid would've been with the fire beetle eye. One spell casted twice was all it needed to defeat the magma mob. With about 20 poop rock spawns in the zone, there's going to be a lot of leveling up :)

I'm confused about the ending. Do you keep farming the items without looting one of them? What do you do with the pieces? Do you combine the items in the bag each time? Do you go back to the Tower? Please explain it to me clearly, step by step, as I didn't understand the last part. Also, is this an exploit? I'm genuinely curious, as I haven't played Everquest much.

Just don't loot the last piece and you can keep spawning the mobs forever. The quest doesn't expire since it's a solo quest. If you want to loot all 3 pieces and turn it in, you get a tiny bit of experience, so I prefer to not loot the pieces. Just a quick note, keep the quest open or else the shovel will vanish and you need that to spawn mobs. This is not an exploit since there are MANY quests and missions like this on Live servers and people don't share the information.

@@doctornachoz8099 I looted all 3 piece and can still trigger the mobs. When the key is 'fixed' the shovel disappears and that when its done.

And you can parcel or trade the shovel to another toon or friend so they can knock off a few monkey poops once in a while. It's a great way to get some exp while waiting for LFG :)

A little off topic, but what class would you suggest for a solo person on Teek (or other TLP servers when they release)? Is it basically just Necro, Mage and Druid?

I think the mage is more requested in groups, but the Necro will be at the tops with DPS in raids and better for soloing I feel.

I was there 2 days ago and there were a few other monkey poop farmers and the funny thing was it caused them to respawn even faster it seemed. good think there are many picks zones of lavastorm!

What level range is this for?

The mobs you spawn scale to your level. With most of these quests the mobs are a minimum of level 20.

Is that a mod that shows spell explanations in blue? can I use that on Teek?

That's redguides MQ2. It's not available on the TLP servers.

So the mobs are the exp source? The "trick" is that we can spawn the mobs ourself? I'm quite new so I don't see the need for it, aren't there mobs all over EQ?

There are mobs all over EQ, but on new TLP servers most of the good camps are not easy to get into, especially if you're not a class that's in demand. On top of that, being able to spawn mobs close to your level as you level up is a huge bonus.

on Teek as a 41 druid, a 41 magma basilisk scavenger was 1.453% xp.

I haven't tried it at 55+ on TEEK tlp, but if it's giving anything close to 1%, I'm never going to leave that zone. Those mobs are so easy to root rot or snare kite around.

I did some testing and got the same exp as you, but when I added more players (same level) to the group, I got less than 1%. So, it's giving out crazy easy solo exp!

It was taking about 50% of a mana bar (moderate gearing) to kill whites and blues with the druid. When I did it on my 51 mage, the mobs had quite a bit of HP so you have to nuke heavily to keep your earth pet alive. So, you're still about 33% of a mana bar there.
