Everton fan from italy since the 80s. I am Italian from Florence , I support Fiorentina and I remember the amazing atmosphere at goodison park in the second leg of our Europa League clash. Best fans and best support I have ever seen . I met friendly guys, either away in Liverpool or in Florence. It confirmed I was right to chose Everton as my second club when I was a kid.

Watching this in 2022 after our current lot (just about!) survived relegation! One of the things I love about Everton is how adversity brings our fans closer. I've never seen our supporters more united than we are right now. That's what sport should be about. None of this nonsense you hear online about how many trophies you're team's won that year - should be about people coming together & making each other smile.

I don't understand the point with this club. Of course everyone has the right to start a club and do as well as possible, but I don't understand why so many people follow this team. Where is the charm? Sure blue is a nice color and there has been some cool players in the club (Ferguson, Southall, Whiteside, Sheedy, Newell, Rideout, Rooney to name a few), but the team seems charmless and without any appeal to me. Like Middlesboro? Or Luton or something. Then again I guess it is good for Liverpool to have a local rival and a derby. Also good for those who support Everton to have Liverpool. I am not a supporter of LFC though. I support someone else in blue who are more successfull...
