Have you been there yet? Who are your team? It’s far bigger in person, and has the ability to be made bigger still ( 70,000 capacity instead of the initial 52,000 ). Do you have any idea how little £300 million buys today stadium wise? Everyone ( English ) said Cardiffs Millenium stadium looked small, pokey, unfinished etc, yet it’s consistently voted in the top ten stadia worldwide for facilities, atmosphere, ease of access, and it has a 75,000 capacity that can also be improved upon. it's because of the location, and the fact that it is literally floating. it is worth it though, because it is very close to the city centre, unlike most new stadiums which exist on barren land, and adds on to the industrial and maritime legacy of Liverpool city as well.
