Look I'm a season ticket holder, have been for 40 years, its like putting lipstick on a pig, or polishing a turd, a dump is still a dump, it's not big enough to compete, also the estimated cost will rise when they discover the asbestos in the roof 😅😅

Keep your stadium and upgrade, if you move then no doubt a huge Mosque would be built on the grounds.

Rebuild Stamford Bridge and play at Wembley for 5 years until it’s ready

Lenny Curry was not the mayor who won the approval from the City Council. It is the current mayor, Donna Deagan. The stadium is owned by the city, and the Jaguars are the primary tenants. The stadium has reached the end of its useful life and needs major work anyway. This investment is mostly not going to be a profit center, but it will be a major quality of life assets for the people of Jax and the surrounding areas.

I live in Jacksonville. I'm happy for this upcoming upgrade. Sitting in that Florida heat is brutal. I've been to plenty of events at this stadium. It is not fun sitting in that heat.
@MatthewParksSr15 сағат бұрын
You ain't lying. And with the unpredictable weather in Jax, it is rough. I have attended a game that started at 98 degrees, rained for 20 minutes, then flipped back to scorching heat for the rest of the afternoon. It was like sitting in a sauna. People and players were passing out. My concern is whether passive cooling will be enough. The second convern is the winter. People don't understand that North Florida gets pretty damn cold, like below freezing with high winds and freezing rain. It will be great to stay dry, but what about staying warm. Passive cool is a one-way solution. Overall, I am excited.

⚔🛡⚔ TITAN UP!!! ⚔🛡⚔
@RSDavis-fb1go17 сағат бұрын
I follow the Titans because I lived in Nashville for 13 years. Grew up in Texas so I was always familiar with Oilers although I supported the Cowboys back then. The hard truth is...and this might sting...the Oilers/Titans team has been at or below average for the overwhelming majority of its 60 year history. Very few high spots. I think it's fair to say at this point that it has never been run well. Ownership has always been fickle and weak. So, building a $2,000,000,000 stadium makes perfect sense! At least make sure it's landscaped nicely for the homeless to enjoy. 🤯

The team is utter garbage, worst in the NFL. The owner is an idiot. They haven’t won their division in 35 years. If the current stadium deteriorates into a complete dump, it would be an appropriate venue for this team.

Will never watch the browns in a dome.

Why would you build a new stadium and expect the fans to watch crap? The Chiefs have been in their stadium for 52 years and everyone there is happy.

Tone deaf. The average Jackson county voter doesn't give a rip about "preserving Arrowhead's reputation" as a world-class sports venue. They are trying to feed their families, Mr. Hunt. Move your a$$ to Kansas if you can't figure that out.

Stick your new ground up your hole. I live near by, and this ashtray will now move even closer to me. I hope it never happens. It's not just a ground its the thousands of other flats and skyscrapers that come with it and all the traffic.

Moving from Stamford Bridge would be a massive mistake. We have to protect its history and legacy. We’ve seen so many clubs move to bigger and more “modern” stadiums and completely lose their soul. Expand on what we currently have and add seating/updated facilities. Stamford Bridge is part of our clubs DNA.
@jedaiahwilloughby9545Күн бұрын
Looks stupid. Way too modern to go with the reat of the stadium.

All this, for one of the worst football teams, in the NFL

I really want my club to have a big modern stadium with wide land around, but i don't understand with what CPO thinking. Arsenal, everton move to a new land to make a much better stadium. But the CPO just didn't want it, they glorify the history. Let me said it, go with your "history things" and we are not going anywhere, big club with "average" stadium. If CPO can help the club to buy resident around the stadium, rebuild is a better option. C'mon man, average club tottenham can make a outstanding stadium, so why we can't?

Cleveland is about to be a hot spot in sports, new era do your thing Browns,the city needs to be creative with lakefront, people all in their feelings about it being downtown ,Browns needed a refresh when they came back and this is iit, granted the team absolutely stinks right now,I believe this will be a new era of football in Cleveland

Look at Detroit. They built the first dome stadium for the Lions in 1975 and now they're in contention for an NFC championship. It only took 50 years!!

Amazing that the worst franchise in professional sports is getting a $2,400,000,000.00 stadium. 🤣 Closing in on Super Bowl LVIII, (58) well over half a century, and the Browns haven’t made a single trip to the title game. No wonder Art got the hell out of there.

Knock the hotels down, build a Holte End size home end, move away fans to East Upper, job done. No need for a massive ground, that would only mean more seats for corporates and tourists who ruin the atmosphere.

I've spoken to a few who said we should have built a big stand instead of the hotels and made the MHU bigger, they hit the nail on the head! Can't knock Uncle Ken though, we'd be a distant memory without his ownership but the glory hunting fanboys would struggle to relate to that, they've never heard of him.
