Funny thing about the 2020 Jaguars is that their week 1 win over the Colts was at home. What's so remarkable about this is that to this day, the Colts haven't won in Jacksonville in over a decade. If it weren't for this "curse", you could argue that the Jaguars were meant to go 0-16

You ain't lying. Once the writing was on the wall, i.e. no legitimate effort or interest in improving the team in any way, the frustration and disappointment turned into straight up apathy. Which is exactly what Kroenke wanted. Throw in the condition of the Dome and it's head-scratching contract clause regarding improvements, and that shit was cooked. I love this video idea. Most of the worst teams in NFL history, worse then the Browns or Lions 0-16 teams in some cases, still somehow managed a win or two. 1-15 is hard to do given how much talent even bad teams have (case and point some will on purpose jettison that talent to rebuild which helps them slide down in the W/L column). They usually have something else going on that led to the loses, such as bad injuries, bad culture, a significant distraction or series of distractions, a much tougher then expected schedule following a more promising year before, or even crater due to unrealistic expectations thrust upon them.

It doesn't look great on paper, but the new coach was Chuck Noll, that unknown draft pick was Mean Joe Greene, that 1-13 record resulted in Terry Bradshaw, those Steelers became a dynasty, and 56 years later that fired coach, Bill Austin, is still the last head coach to be fired by the Steelers.
