Thank you for this wonderful ranking. Gave me some ideas of what to see next. Yes, watch Blackcoats Daughter a few more times. It took the third watch for me to totally understand and fall in love with it.

Also, love the Lobster at S! Thats probably my #2, and was my intro to Lorgos. What an intro!

Hereditary is one of the best horror films ever made. The tone is consistent while morphing from a sad family drama to something so much darker. But, upon a second watch, you find so many clues and the real thread was there all along. There are absolutely no loose ends and I really respect the narrative. That being said, while there are scarier films out there I feel that it's the scariest "main stream" film that a lot of people have seen which is why it's so hyped.

Niceee but would be better if you put the posters big on the screen when talking about each movie, is really hard to see them

Im just gonna say it, i do like that he explains the movies without giving too many if any spoilers but The movie titles on the graphics are usually too small to see and he only says the title ONE TIME* for each movie in addition to the fact that they are not marked by larger texts or chapters. So unless the font of the title is huge on the graphic like for "Amy"; in order to actually go watch which movies are in which tier you have to spend time scrolling back through to hear the titles.. . great vid but that part is annoying.

I think I'm exact opposite with you on Ladybird and Eighth Grade. I was excited for Ladybird and although the performances were great I thought it was just alright. Meanwhile, Eighth Grade I knew nothing about, started off not sure about it and it REALLY won me over Also Blackcoat's Daughter might be my favorite of A24's horror offerings that I've seen Keep up the good work! I'm loving your channel so far!

I'd say Climax and Everything everywhere all at once. The Safdie brothers and ari aster movies are excellent too. There are many a24 classics. Euphoria was brilliant. Wasn't overly keen on X but I've appreciated Ti Wests work over the years and understood what he was doing with it. Always get excited when a24 release something.

I genuinely think Red Rocket doesn’t get enough appreciation, legitimately not only one of if not the best A24 movie, but one of the greatest movies of all time

My top three are Everything Everywhere All At Once, Midsommar and Saint Maud (which is up here despite the first time I watched it I was being bugged why everywhere looked so familiar. It’s set in Scarborough in Yorkshire, a place I’ve been a few times).

I don’t know why, but I didn’t find killing of a deer all that disturbing … I found the manner in which they talk annoying. Maybe I have to do a rewatch.

for under the skin, i went in blind not knowing it was about an alien and it was really good. I think they should have left it out of the description because it makes for a better more thrilling movie, and it lets you figure it out yourself.

On the killing of a sacred deer I missed more screen time by the weird young guy, it was the most interesting part of the movie and in the middle of the movie almost disappears
