Man, I grew up watching Lin Dan but I was still in awe when I recall how dominant this man was. Summer Olympic, Asian Games, World Championships, All England, you name it, this guy has won it all. Many people think Lee Chong Wei was the king of Super Series and rightfully so, however Lin Dan was not far behind in Super Series titles. His trophy cabinet was and still is the envy of the world.

Yes i agree LCW reach his full prime after around 27 y.o, his first All England final was 2009 when he was 27 y.o and first WC final was 2011 when he was 29 y.o. Even i'm sure 33-34 y.o LCW will beat 24-25 y.o LCW.

Lin won the most in the open era where as the people above him all won in the amateur era, people like Chen long and viktor axelson have only won 2 in the open era and they would destroy everyone of the amateur era meaning winning in open era is much harder
