Apologies for the low-quality of some of the images; it's hard to find information about some of these costumes, let alone high-quality renders of them! But that's why I wanted to make this video, to provide a full list that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. I did the best I could to find everything, and I hope you find it interesting.

As a fun fact for some of Rebecca's outfits, her Beret costume is actually the one she was gonna use in the cancelled Nintendo 64 version of Resident Evil 0 and the Team Wesker outfit is called Black Marionette in the Japanese version!

Also moira is my 3rd favorite character in the resident evil franchise and she didn't bring up.her third alternate outfit the survivor outfit you unlock from buying the struggle dlc That you can use in the campaign and beat the campaign so you can use it in raid mode as well.

A couple of added fun facts for context: 2:35 The Angel Studios logo on the back of Claire's alternate outfit was of the developer who ported the game to the Nintendo 64. Angel Studios went on to become Rockstar San Diego who helped develop LA Noire, Red Dead Redemption and GTA5. 4:26 Chris' casual costume in Resident Evil REmake was in part inspired by Brad Pitt's attire in The Mexican (2001) As a huge RE fan and speedrunner, it's nice to see these deeper dives into different aspects of the series. 13:12 The updated "military" look was actually more of a homage to Joseph Frost from the OG RE1 game as he sported a Bandana, Tank top and tactical vest in the RE1 Remake. And another give away to this is the big S.T.A.R.S. patch sitting right on the center pouch of Clair's vest.

Also i believe the noir outfit for leon in re2 remake is also a reference to the main character of the evil within cause they are damn near identical

I think the detective looks for Leon and Krauser is inspired by the 80's sleuth show Simon and Simon. That's my best guess cause they look like 80's detectives.

Nice video, fun fact though, the military outfit for Jill I'm RE remake was inspired by Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor in Terminator 2: Judgment Day and Chris's beanie red shirt costume is inspired by Brad Pitt's character in The Mexican.

Hey! I'm really enjoying this video, and I'm glad you posted it! It actually inspired me to subscribe, and I'm really looking forward to checking out your other work! I'll be sharing it with friends for sure. There was one thing I wanted to mention, although I'm sure others have probably mentioned it since the video was released a couple of years ago. While the alternative outfit that Yoko has in Resident Evil Outbreak can understandably be seen as a kung-fu outfit (especially since Bao, a kung-fu artist from the KoF series, wears a very similar outfit!), it's actually an outfit that I'm pretty sure is meant to be reminiscent of what was called a Zhongsan suit, but I could totally be wrong; I don't know very much about Chinese history, unfortunately. Of course, I know Yoko is actually Japanese, but the outfit itself is named "Workers' Republic," so I'm pretty sure that's what it's referencing. If anyone wants to educate me on this though I would be really glad, because I'm woefully ignorant on the topic. :) More about the Zhongsan suit, or "Mao Suit," can be found on Wikipedia! Hopefully I'm right about this and am not just spreading misinformation, lol. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mao_suit

*You missed few alternatives outfits from the series. There’s other alternative outfits for Ada Wong and Leon Kennedy in Mercenaries Mode from Resident Evil 4.*

How is a tribal outfit racist? I don't see race as an issue but even i can understand that people hold their heritage to great import. Some people need to put that race card in the incinerator if they don't know how to use it.

Would've been cool to have included "Yoko:D", later renamed to "Yoko:Z" once she got more costumes as D became that Kung fu one, but it's nice to see the game being displayed in the first place. While the costume was technically treated as an NPC with different stats, she still had her original voice in the second game, and other characters called referred to her as Yoko rather than the generic "hey". (For context to those who don't know, all unlockable NPCs are based on an original cast member. In the first game, they keep their voices and are referred to by others by the name of the character they're based on, but the second game gave each character a generic NPC voiceline set, and they're referred to with a generic "hey", "hey you" or "excuse me" voice clip instead, with Yoko:Z being the only exception)

7:36 that's not just a black ensemble. The outfit Cindy is wearing looks indentical to the Cameron Diaz's black leather outfit from the 2000 movie Charlie's Angels. I'd be willing to bet that that was the inspiration for that unlockable.

Resident Evil 5 Chris Costume isn't code veronica that is OG RE1, Im not sure how Sheva tribal costume is racist, but then apparently alot of people found the game racist just because it was set in Africa, again I'm not sure how, must be the same way RE4 was racist with Spain, and RE6 with China, but what do I know. That Rebecca Chambers costume with the white barret and shoulder pads was the original design for the cancelled RE0 ZERO that was originally scheduled for the Nintendo 64. The worst costume in here that should never have existed is Chris sailor from revelations 1, and if your gonna do that, at least make a better fit, the top should go down to belt with full length trousers, they did him dirty with that, RE6 should of been optional alt costumes for main campaign, RE3 Remake was lazy with the costumes should of had all from previous games, including RE5 battlesuit, a much better OG classic attire for carlos and original Nemesis skin, along with pixel costumes from original and OST Like RE2 Remake did, but yh I absolutely love that Barry got his RE1 look for REV 2 I didn't know exist until now so thankyou I shall revisit that game once I'm done with village, and now there adding in a 3rd person mode, Rose getting an extra costume, Ethan should also get at least 1 or 2 more, and Chris should get Made in Heaven PS1 RE1 outfit. I am still scratching my head at RE5 and/or Sheva costume being racist though, Sheva and Josh are awesome, RE5 in general is a solid game, great game infact, so many people wanna always see fault or make an issue out of nothing.

Specifically, Billy only got 3 that weren't that interesting. No offense to the people who won that contest, but CAPCOM should have let them design the whole model, instead of overpriced designer t-shirts that are uninteresting for alternate outfits.
