Petal Plotters is a game where you put point cards face down in front of you or you use their power and discard. Powers let you manipulate face down cards in front of you or others. The last card in your hand will tell you what your scoring goal is. Then you go through scoring goals by their priority. If someone has the highest priority goal card and met their goal they win, otherwise you go to the next highest scoring priority card and see if anyone that has that scoring card has met their goal, if so they win, if not you go to the next scoring priority goal. So on and so on. Looks very fun for a tiny little game.

Fascinating! I’m always intrigued by how much game can be packed into a deck of cards! Thanks for the heads up 👍👍

We picked up Haniwa at the Tokyo Games Market last year! So glad the game got picked up by a publisher, the designer was a nice guy!

Haniwa is one of the few games that got to keep its insert! It looks absolutely adorable! Good to know the publisher/designer is a solid person!

@@CardboardEast Oh good! I had to open my game to take look at the insert. It's definitely a good insert to keep!

Fixer seems super cool. It’s like a bunch of individual battles of War happening at the same time mixed with Rock Paper Scissors mixed with trick taking.

I live in Germany and never been to Spiel, but I've seen people's hauls. Do you have to pay customs taxes for the games you get from there?
@CardboardEast2 ай бұрын
Excellent question. I believe the answer is no for the consumer but yes for the vendor. Please remember that I’m not an EU tax specialist, so please take what I say regarding this matter with a grain of salt.

LOL. We both probably did, but the games bring out the passion and passion causes us to do wild things from time to time!
thanks a lot for covering so many boardgames from Asia :) , we bought some at Essen thanks to you! The one we are most excited about is Formosa tea, sadly our copy came without tea farmers 🥲, I sent an emai to TBD , let's see if the customer service is as good as the game now 😂
@CardboardEast2 ай бұрын
There was an error on behalf of the manufacturer. I had that issue as well. Some members of TBD are still on holiday in the EU, but a link was posted on the BGG forums. Here's the link down below. Fill it out and they'll send out your farmers. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSefsMZgWbgePIWJy3wBRYXSyPsC2MAc9LSspJTaCYXdW0cVPw/viewform Until then, just be sure you don't have more than 3 bowler cap dudes processing tea (or in the double sale global market spot) and you should be fine.
