At least SLKR has a team built up around him. Wait until you get Rey. Many light side allies work with her but you need Ben Solo to make it outstanding.

For offense you can swap out the troopers for officer and masked kylo. You get wicket speed ups.. therefore a ton of quick mastery.

Very nice. I’ve not encountered a Rey comp with GK in it. It sounds very annoying. I’m just now getting baby Cal geared up so this might be a good comp for me next time 5v5 comes around. I don’t have Jedi Knight Cal so I like to use Bastilla in his place with that same comp and I like it quite a bit. Her ability block on basic is useful to be able to control the team while wiping out the LV teams with JML’s special lead ability (I’m going to miss my 98% protection datacron that expires in a couple of days :( ) Thanks for sharing!!

No doubt that Rey comp is a beast, but the problem with it is that it hurts other really good teams. As someone without all the GLs, I need as many good teams as I can get. If that means that a few teams are not quite as strong as they could be, so be it. Cere/Malicos/Cal is a top non-GL team both on offense and defense. It pretty much requires a GL to beat it on defense and can beat some GLs on offense. I used it regularly last season to beat LV. It may lose a little bit of viability with the expiration of the UFU datacrons, but should still be really good. And GK is important for JMK, Padme, or Jedi squads. Personally, I found the toughest Rey squad to beat was Rey/Ben/JTR/50RT/L3.

Krr is pretty bad with the Aphra team, he barely taunts. I would not take away from Jabba. I'd look for another 5th for Aphra

Thanks CA, I have tried different comps for Leia, I know Han & Chewie were a hot commodity, is Baze & Old Ben the best line up defensively or overall? Ive used Capn Rex & Chewpio & that does well for me too. 🤔 Ive also seen Mon Motha or Raddus in the line up too.

I would advise against MM as she doesn't add much. Crex is actually really nice for a few counters due to the TD and daze. can maybe run crex and OB if you don't have pho?

Question-For rey : what if I swap obi wan with barris (jmk team feels weak without him my mace is R5 and I feel oQGJ needs a tank to get value and it s where I have him placed. I geared barris from g12 to r3 maybe r5 soon specially for the rey team (instead of GK)

There is a more complex team I use with SEE to counter JMK that makes use of the armorer, WAT, Thrawn and SET. It's a pretty solid comp to most jmk squads as long as you have Thrawn and Armorer's speeds set up correctly

Depends on what your opponent is using. Vs SK it's probably worse, everything else it's better

I've been doing rey with Ben, jtr, holdo, and barris. I think replacing holdo with cal as soon as my cal is ready. Been on the fence about whether or not they need a taunting tank, but I think cal makes up for it. With the stacking defensecron, they and my zorii didn't go down this whole season. Won me 3 for 3 this last round

Yeah holdos taunt probably isn't consistent enough in that comp to justify not using cal.

Songeta just had to deal with a really nasty SLKR team the other day. Reva lead, GI, seventh sister, malicose, and SLKR. He tried Leia on it and wasn’t even close.

I would say no, he's not really adding much unless you remove OB too and add Crex and that's about the same as the current

For defense its actually better to use a Tank like seventh sister Stormtrooper or Shoretrooper as replacement for Thrawn so the team gets more tanky

You’d really want to consider your omicrons in that scenario, but lando is considered better than gammo from what I’ve seen

Would Moff Gideon not fit with Lord Vader? Empire, demoralized is a significant reduction in damage, an armor shred, ... every 4 'basics' an AoE daze,.. and the option to remove turn meter. (granted, might backfire if enemy is immune to it.. silly AI)

Isn't the third sister/gi/7sister/malicos/slkr comp better? On defence it is able to hold both against leia and jmk and the only good way to counter it is using jabba, which most people throw at leia right now

Playing mace as the lone tank with jmk on defense makes them extremely vulnerable to mirrors. All you have to do is open with the cooldown reduction on cat while targeting mace. Ahsoka clips him on the assist and the way his kit works he stops taunting and you're free to instakill their cat on your second turn. If you're faster, you can get away with preventing their instakill entirely. Also, just fyi, I've been disagreeing with you some lately, but it needs to be said that I love your channel. One of the best swgoh channels on KZbin right now. If there wasn't some debate to be had it wouldn't be as much fun.

Haven‘t found a 5v5 rey comp normal full fo slkr can’t beat. Of course it’s always horrible banners but in 5v5 it always gets the job done. 3v3 can be tricky of course

​​​@@ThrashMatterhonestly I use gas vs every single rey comp I see. If there is no sortie or cat (cat is much harder to beat than sortie though) I beat it even with cal it's not that hard. Factor in though that I went for lv so I have echo and rex to r7 and fives, gas and arc tk r8 so not everyone will have such a strong gas team Edit: I haven't really fought a rey with a great datacron (like full defense) and I am guessing that might completely shut down gas

I'm carbonite 1, 3.4m gp no GL. My enemy had 4.9m gp, rey and also starkiller and traya/savage, all with omis. I won (870 banners me, 854 banners him)

JMK, hey when using JMK on offense in a mirror match against himself, just give him the worst Republic tank you have at relic. The tan is going to die before his first turn anyway and you save Mace Windu for something else. I R3 relic'ed Plo Kloon just for his ship and this sacrifice.

I use g7 Cwc for this, really doesn’t matter as long as it’s a tank unless SOMEHOW they have someone else faster than cat but that should never be the case
