That was Good 👍 My take aways: 1.“Every action is a vote for the type of person you want to become" 2.Design your environment(make it easier to perform the habit) 3.4 stages of habit: Cue,Craving, Response,Reward. 4.Habits can also be triggered by internal states of being. 5.You don't need to lose weight,you need better eating habits and your weight will always be around where you want it to be. 6.You don't need more money,you just need better financial habits and you'll always have the money to manage the things that come up. 7.Read Atomic Habits😊 Thank you video advice..keep informing and inspiring 💛

It’s hard to know how to get started. Trading the crypto market has really been a life changer for me. I almost gave up on cryptocurrency at some point not until I got a proficient broker Davi to handle my trades..I made more profits than I could ever imagine.. I’m not here to converse much but to share my testimony.. I have made total Returns of about 5.6BTC from an investment of just 0.95BTC.. All thanks to Mr Jax and his team, I’m really grateful especially during the lockdown they never disappointed me. I have been able to make great returns trading with Mr Jax which is one of the best trading platforms around. I discovered that I made more income than what my current job pays. I also urge you to take a bold step by giving the Bitcoin market a trial if you really want to make more money. To find yourself, lose yourself in the service of others. -Ghandi The problem with inspirational and motivational videos and advice is they almost all have one thing in common: They don’t mention serving others. I don’t care how many hours you spend in a gym, how much money you make, how improved your appearance is, how much you’ve improved your social skills, etc. You will never be truly fulfilled until you make serving others a priority in your life. Seems backwards, but the more you focus on others and their needs and less on yourself, the less you have to focus on yourself. Something big happens when you live this way.

So you are saying that if you don't study anything, being physically weak and don't have any money, you can help other people better than being successfull, strong and inteligent? How can you help others better in that way? doing the chores for them?

FIFA Freak The reason or the motive to be better should be to serve others. This intention then motivates you to study, exercise, etc. So I think your comment and his comment don’t contradict each other.

It makes my brain and body acclimate to stress the same way I would want them to in my everyday life! I am starting a KZbin channel and making a bunch of changes in my life. *What we know from lab studies is that it's never too late to break a habit. Habits are malleable throughout your entire life. But we also know that the best way to change a habit is to understand its structure - that once you tell people about the cue and the reward and you force them to recognize what those factors are in a behavior, it becomes much, much easier to change*

Great insight. When I look back to when I started becoming better off I remember that at the time I had decided to rearrange my spending habits and started learning how to start making budgets. As I started following the budget I started to watch my savings grow and that encouraged me to carry on on my new path. Thanks for a great presentation.

Certified Finest first of all I thank you for your response. Around the time that I started to turn my financial life around I was down to my last $750.00 and no longer owned any property. Now I own 160 acres of land and that includes the mineral rights for the silver on it. Their is also 3000 cords of wood on it and it is beautiful mountain country. So it’s hard to calculate my properties total asset value but I now seem to be the go to guy when my family needs emergency repairs done lol. So I hope that helps you with your question. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me again. Thanks. I appreciate all constructive feedback

Certified Finest the most beautiful thing about this purchase was the price that I paid for it. Because it was landlocked ( surrounded by crown owned land without road access) I was able to purchase the whole piece for $4000.00. I basically used all the perceived negatives against the property to my advantage and basically (using my previous sales experience) sold myself the property as opposed to having the owner lead the sale. Since I had so little cash on hand at the time I used my last $750.00 to place the deposit on the property and set the closing date for the purchase 6 months down the road in order to give me the opportunity to raise enough money for the down payment and legal transfer payments. I amortized the mortgage over 1 year and paid off the balance which I forgot to mention in my last message. That I own the property outright and mortgage free. There are ways to still do things like this and I would be happy to assist you in knowing how so please feel free to keep in touch. I am stopping this message here just to let you know that I am not disregarding your last message. Thanks for your inquiries.

No, and to prove my point, read any of the comments on this video's page. There is exactly one difference between this speaker's advice, and the advice that he mocks in the beginning of this video, in terms of the actual technique used to reprogram habits. Yet so far I haven't seen a single person actually state what that critical difference was, despite their enthusiasm over how very much this video's information was a life-changing event for them. I don't think they're liars per se, I think they aren't paying attention to what they're paying attention to... which was the video's entire point.

My mom always says, we all have this knowledge. This is all common sense knowledge. We just ignore them. We are human. We aren't mindful of our daily habits. And we need to learn to be. Great video.
@ladymercy5275
@ladymercy5275 3 жыл бұрын
This is not common sense knowledge. It's not true of other animals. Humans evolved differently, and we've evolved habit building differently, because of our differences in cognition. We already know about Pavlovian response experiments. That isn't what he's saying. He tells us that isn't what he's saying. What he's saying is that humans build habits based on _perceptions._ For us, foraging for information is as essential (or more) than foraging for literal food. Think about why people go window-shopping. Why on Earth would a creature go around looking at things they crave knowing full well that they're not going to actually experience them first-hand? And yet, we do. That's why, unlike the other animals here, we have to do a special extra thing when trying to form good habits, and that thing is to perceive a symbolic representative of what we crave, and to use that as the motivating factor to go experience it. This is too abstract for most people around here, as the comments section in this video proves. They didn't get the perception part. They don't know it, and there's no reason it should come to them instinctually, because it's our unique mutation. It isn't common sense. It's the realization that perceptual cues can have as strong, or stronger an effect on the habits we form, than the actual physical experiences that those cues remind us about. For example, you can't train a child to be obedient, by rewarding them with permission to _think_ about candy. That's too abstract. They want the candy for real. But, you as an adult can do that to yourself, and not only that but you might need to, due to our species' unique evolutionary path. We sometimes get cravings for art. How is that _possible?_ Art is literally not the thing it represents. Do you feel the need to stare deeply at a statue because you're hungry for rocks? Do men crave magazine covers of women in red dresses on sexy looking _sports cars_ because they thirst for gasoline, or have an instinctual urge to mate with _clothes?_ Of course not. Yet without beauty, people of our species get sad, become little more than depressed beasts of burden. That is a really weird thing for an animal to do. But if a magazine cover can motivate a person to eat red delicious apples that day, then more power to them.

There's a typo. It's not,' "Queue," Craving, Response, Reward,' it's 'Cue, Craving, Response, Reward.' A queue is a line, as in a grocery store. A cue is something that initiates a response, like the spoken line in a play that is the cue for the actor to deliver his line.
