I would love your recipe for the tea you make using peach powder!

I don't really use a recipe with measurements. I just add about half a tablespoon to my tea blend.

I pressure canned 60 ears of white sweet corn grown locally as it is a project I do every other year. It's the only thing I can in summer; it's just too hot here for I could live on an ice floe me. I did get up at like 3am on a Saturday morning in late June to jar up the de-cobbed corn in the fridge and then pressure can the pint jars. It was all done and cooling by 8am, just when the temperature started climbing. I admire your fortitude in canning and preserving so much in such a short period of time. Wow! Thanks for sharing your enviable progress!

Hi 🖐🏽 Linda. I don't usually share about my canning. But today in a gifted Instant pot, I canned 4 pints of chicken and beef 😮in a hour & 15 mins. I have all the old fashioned pressure canners. But this was a quick way to replenish our hurricane 🌀 pantry and believe me. Just before Beryl hit, I'd canned meatloaf and mixed veggies which hubby took to work.🤣they were done in regular pressure canner. I digress. That Instant pot never heated up the house. I too wait until dark or wee hours to can here in Houston ❤

@@MissPeachCobbler Greetings, Miss Peach! Nicely done you. It surprises me every two years that it takes 55 minutes at pressure to can corn just off the cob. I keep an earthquake pantry here in the agricultural wonder and so so hot San Joaquin Valley in too sunny California. I keep my canned jars in boxes on wire shelves in a bedroom closet where the boxes couldn't fall off even if they did double flips trying to. Take care and watch out for those too frequent hurricanes.

@@lindah5910 ☺️🥳🙌🏽 I will and thank you. For awhile I thought I was being too serious with my canning. 🥰Two nights before hurricane 🌀 Beryl hit us, I'd just canned meatloaf and it saved us while the power was out. ❣️ Thank you for inspiring me to keep it up 🙌🏽🥳 blessings

I have made this twice using 5lb cranberries. love it. Don’t eat the cranberries. Feed them to your chickens. I was able to use monk fruit so my husband can enjoy also. I did one inch headspace and the cranberries still float to the top.

I can’t preserve every day because I work a lot but weekends I do projects. I have put up 20 quarts of silver queen off cob in freezer. I froze 2 bushels of canning tomatoes from a local farmer and I will can those as I have time. I made 10 pints of bread and butter pickles from my one cucumber vine last weekend and made 10 1/2 pints of zucchini relish.

You've been busy! Congrats on all you've gotten done! What kind of cucumber do you grow that one vine gives you so much?

Hi there just subbed, Dee, 63 from New Zealand ❤. Listening to you talking about your cranberry juice. I suggest you contact Jennifer at A Country Life. She and her husband are long time cranberry growers, and she makes cranberry juice all the time. She recently made more on a video, so take a look....

Thanks for the suggestion! I totally forgot they are cranberry farmers but I love her channel. I went back and watched a few of her juice videos!
