E60 looks timeless even today. F10 is the perfect balance between form and function and it still looks fresh today. G30 looks good pre and post LCI. G68 is where the BMW is confused on what they want the 5 to be!

I drive a f10 520d and just love the car. Its everything a bmw should be, comfy, sporty and at the same time fuel efficient and not that bad to maintain also. But now as it is getting older currently around 12 yrs still looks and feels gr8 but definitely time to upgrade to a g30 facelift 530d, the last of true fun to drive and still full of luxury sports family sedan.

BMW probably does not use rear curtains in the new 5 series due to a mix of compliance with India's visibility and safety on the road laws. Ever since the Supreme Court ruled in 2012, dark window tints and covers that block visibility into and out of the car were banned. While mainly referred to with regard to tints, the suing of rear curtains would serve the same effect of less transparency if deployed while the car is moving.

I happen to drive the E60 525d and the first Luxury german car i have driven.From a guy who daily drove the swift this experience is unforgettable. The Comfort, Diesel torque is just immense. The only problem i had is the experience of lag in its initial pulls other than that my self esteem shot up when i pull up on events in this. And i really miss my Diesel cars... E60 it the type of car you love it as you live with it, the bugle butt is bit quirky looking a spoiler can enhance its looks

Incase u dk :- The M5 version of the latest 5-series is criticized for it's heavy weight even more than it's bad looks. Nonetheless it's the fastest M5(regular) due to the hybrid system.

After doing this much homework by BMW TEAM.Merc slayed them by releasing the E450 which the BMW didn’t expected. With the current pricing of E-Class lineup the 5er is dead on arrival.

Aren't the correct generations E59, F09 and so on? E60 was the then M5, F10 the then M5 and non-M5s usually had different codename/generation name. Interested to know.

The E39 was the fourth gen of 5 series and e60 was the fifth generation of 5 Series. The F10 was the code for sixth generation of 5 Series and F90 was the M5

The E60 and the G30 are the only ones with respectable body roll in the video shots. The E60 because it's so stiff, and the G30 because it has adaptive dampers which stiffen up during cornering and in sport mode. The F10 and the G68 are literally rolling on their door handles 🤣🤣
