This list misses multiple bosses throughout the entire series. The original Spider Mastermind in Doom 1, every boss in Doom 3, the Hunters in Doom 3: RoE... the Hell Guardians in 2016.. The Doom Hunter in Enteral.. and the Dark Lord.

As a boss battle, it was underwhelming, they could have done much better rather than having the marauder style 'hit em when it flashes green' There's a mod that does justice to that battle and even changes the theme for a better one

I'm not sure how they can top the Dark Lord of Hell in that game. Both lore wise and as a boss battle.

Heres 1 from my school vr game, that being Goalius boss fight is nuts (For context, he was pushed into this state because of the Doom Slayer restoration which he became a cyberdemon and been under hell and Heavens radar for years) this boss has 2 options (For the Lucifer Morningstar as Alliance friend you must play as Necreos with Infected Loona Equipped with the Titan Kill, or if you still want Lucifer Morningstar to be a pain in the ass you must play as Exodus) during it he has attacks like spawning in Lickers and Imps, reanimating the dead and the Plunger man Spiecal (3 punchs a Lu Kang styled Bycicle kick and Raiden thunder charge)

...and man I wish for more of doom 3 the exploration of the mars base was awesome with the audio logs and stuff, ya its old but so are dinosaurs and dinosaurs kick butt

Thanks to DOOM 2016, I became a fan of this video game series and learned about the Doomguy, who later became the DOOM SLAYER.

It doesn't help that two of the "bosses" in DOOM Eternal (if you can call them that) are just strong standard enemies promoted to boss status while being demoted to strong standard enemies in every subsequent encounter. I am of course talking about the Marauders and Hunters.

The hardest boss is definitely the mother demon until you figure out how to easily cheese it. Double barrel shot gun and slowly pace to the left or right really close to her and she won't hit you with her attacks

I prefer 2016's bosses, however, normal stages were far better in eternal. I still think eternal missed a big boss you could meathook around while dodging projectiles in the air, the bosses were too "counter and wait" and imo it ruined the pace

I am stuck currently on doom 2016 spider demon on the series s but I had it on the ps4 too and just made it to the part of getting the rocket launcher. I was glad to continue with the game.
