King Bill was firstly introduced in NSMB.Wii. They first appear in 9-8 and are 50 times the players size. They just have a smile, can smash through stone and could not be defeated until U by using a power-up utilizing the game pad.

You missed a bullet bill type, in super Mario bros 3 there are a few bulle bills that flash red and when they pass Mario they will turn around. They are not bullseye bills, because they don’t directly target Mario like how the smm ones do. They also can only turn around once, and can’t just camp the player out. They can only move horosontally though

Not only did yoshi’s island have green bullet bills and red homing bills, but a yellow ricochet bill! They were colored like stop lights to imply how hard each one was to avoid, and the more advanced the bill, the more deranged it’s expression. The green ones were standard, the yellow ones seemed delightfully insane, and the red ones snarled like rabid wolves when you jumped over and they started homing in. That’s some determination there!

Super Mario Bros. 3 actually had the first homing version of Bullet Bill. They were called Missile Bill/Bullseye Bill. Though they only tracked once, then went on their way.

Impressive list! I've got another Bill to add to it, though: the Bouncing Bullet Bill (AKA the "Killer Three B's") from Yoshi's Island! While that game's regular Bullet Bills are green and launch from a green cannon fixed in place, there's also a yellow cannon that will point itself in Yoshi's direction and eventually launch a yellow Bill, firing it at whatever angle necessary to hit Yoshi's last location. You can dodge it easily, but it's called the Bouncing Bullet Bill for a reason: it can bounce off walls to ricochet back towards you! They aren't too fast, though, so you can do some bouncing of your own and leap off a well-aimed BBB to reach tricky platforms.

King Bill is just pure nightmare fuel. Since it has that puffy grin in its mouth because it knows that's it's an unstoppable force careening towards a single direction, and it's gleeful by the fact that there's nothing the player can do except avoid its path.

Mario RPG is notable in that you never actually fight the Bullet Bills themselves. They served as obstacles in some overworld challenges where you had to avoid them, and some enemies would use them as projectiles. You could also fight the cannons. Some enemies, including the final boss, could also fire a golden Bullet Bill which would kill a character in one hit.

A few extra details: - In Super Mario Odyssey, Bullet Bills flash red and then explode after a while. The same happens with Banzai Bills, but after an extended period of time. - In Super Mario Maker 2, Banzai Bills are placed without a launcher; whereas regular Bullet Bills do not exist as an entity, but rather their launcher. - Also in SMM2, the red Bullet Bill launcher will spit out any non-Bullet Bill item placed in them, with more power and speed than a regular one.
