Nothing like the timeless, caressing embrace if existential dread to carry me off to sleep. Well done, sir!

@@PhoenicianSailor you guys are very similar in editing and studio style so a collab would feel pretty seemless. it wouldn't feel out of place :D

I got the same effect from a nightlight in my room as a child. I shared a room with my sister. She was afraid of the dark and could only sleep with it on. We had bunk beds and I had the bottom bunk. The night light was situated in a socket low to the ground in the wall that was behind my head but adjacent to the door. The room itself was small such that the beds took a quarter of the space and you would hit your head on the ceiling if you say up. As a child at 5 mind. Then imagine the wall of toys and thing crammed into every space belonging to two children. So the nightlight is low to the ground. It's light is a soft yellow much like a candle frame. And as it pushes it's light through toys and things on shelves, on the floor, hanging from the ceiling etc. Like candlelight the shadows it cast were long and dark. Add onto that, that I wear glasses and have done so since I could walk. The shapes would move. Creatures from the darkness would come to life. Their lips would move despite having no features to focus on. Anyway. I still don't like nightlights.

At the times when any choice is rarely considered in many countries (I'm not pointing fingers, but you know me) it's truly calming to listen to your video and contemplate mortality. You also somehow made your visuals even better than before; the tones, the light, the focus, the small pinpoints of light reflecting in your glasses - it's PERFECT. // Upd.: The Final Part :'3 This is perfect, thank you for creating this!!

So this just got thrown at me in the recommendations and listening to the first ten minutes I just envision this long speech being constructed down as the camera pulls back to reveal a dinner table where the kids are sitting there looking at one another all '... dad's doing it again.'

That would have been amazing. I may steal that idea. :)

I don’t know if you’re aware of the games/comics but you’d be awesome at a Wolf Among Us/Fables rp!! Same sort of vibe as True Detective, Vampyr and so on with the whole noir detective deal but with a unique almost Witcher style darker twist on traditional Fables

I can't find what video it was but I watched one you made where you had this squishy frog toy and I loved it. Would you consider doing a video w/ no plot where its just you talking and squishing the frog toy/ scratching that fantastic wooden box you got at a thrift store? -You're my favorite asmr creator!

Do we know why people are afraid of the dark? I think because being near fire/light meant safety from wild animals right? I wished I could write as beautifully and as eloquently. The shadows/darkness/light in the video are really really beautiful

Well I see your point but it is only a half point We create each moment at the same time the each moment is creating us as well interdependence more like it That’s why I think the idea of creation or creator is dualistic and limited only to the dialect Outside that is where the fun begins hahah

We're all burning the candle at both ends, for ourselves and the universe. But isn't that just the tragedy of being, that one day there will not be? Just on a cosmic scale. Perhaps the galaxies weep in a way we don't understand. (I meet your poetic pretentiousness with my own.)

Love it! My thought is ... my granular creation is the optic of something I have never seen in it's true context. If I could only come up with some more obscure words ... to put in a larger ... more disingly display of the translucent history of the more processed words of the den that we are surrounded by. Limit the pallet with tiny sparkling moments. Candles rock in the darkness to darkness! With the fuckin' negative space for sure!! 🤘
