The Falcon and the Winter Soldier[a] is an American television miniseries created by Malcolm Spellman for the streaming service Disney+, based on the Marvel Comics characters Sam Wilson / Falcon and Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier. It is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), sharing continuity with the films of the franchise. The events of the series take place after the film Avengers: Endgame (2019). The series was produced by Marvel Studios, with Spellman serving as head writer and Kari Skogland directing.
Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie reprise their respective roles as Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson from the film series. Wyatt Russell, Erin Kellyman, Danny Ramirez, Georges St-Pierre, Adepero Oduye, Don Cheadle, Daniel Brühl, Emily VanCamp, Florence Kasumba, and Julia Louis-Dreyfus also star. By September 2018, Marvel Studios was developing a number of limited series for Disney+, centered on supporting characters from the MCU films such as Wilson and Barnes. Spellman was hired in October, and chose to focus on the racial issues raised by Wilson being handed Captain America's shield at the end of Endgame. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was confirmed in April 2019, and Skogland was hired the next month. Filming began in October 2019 in Atlanta, Georgia, before moving to the Czech Republic in March 2020. Production was halted due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but resumed in Atlanta in September before wrapping in the Czech Republic in October.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier premiered on March 19, 2021, and ran for six episodes until April 23. It is part of Phase Four of the MCU. A fourth Captain America film is in development as a continuation of the series.

LOL, no. The scales are reminiscent to 616-Captain America who is the original Captain America in the main universe. Ultimate Captain America literally never wore a scale suit, never, ever in his run. The museum replica of WWII Cap's looked more like Ultimate Captain America's suit than any other variation in the MCU.

@@perce1veALL you are right about 616 inspiration. The scales do represent 616 cap, but ultimate caps suit also had scales and that was a nod to the 616. Hence mcu endgame cap suit is closer to 1610 than 616 Some artists didn't add scale details on a few panels from the ultimate comics due to time limitation, but there were many panels and comics that depict the suit havering scales on the upper torso. something I never noticed until a while ago Bucky's howling commando suit is an almost one to one version of his golden age suit in the comics with the blue flight jacket now some bits were desaturated like the royal blue flight jacket is now more of a navy and the pants went from red to brown and that weird lone rider mask was ditched but those make sense

9:12 Has no one else noticed that the ripped part of the nomad costume has the scaled texture from endgame? In my opinion Cap made his endgame suit with the same costume, but he fixed it up (he ripped the rest of the cloth on top of the scales and repainted the suit back to the patriotic colors)

Bro, Steve never created those uniforms, be serious. They were at the Avengers headquarters in End Game, there were plenty of uniforms for everyone to choose from. War Machine & Steve had fresh uniforms, for the end battle. The End Game uniform was v3 of the Stark uniform. Version 1 was age of Ultron (Avengers logos), Version 2 was Civil War/Infinity War (no Avengers logos) End Game, Version 3 had Scales. He said this in the video, they were variations of the same base uniform.

The white on the sleeves (for Steve's suit) really helps break up the blue. I kinda wish they did a big blend of different suits for his *Endgame* Suit, - Vibrant colours + stripes from the Smithsonian Suit - General layout of the Stark V.1 suit + the bigger red gloves from the Smithsonian suit (Also helps break up the blue so it's not swamping his arms) - Scales from Endgame Suit

Nah, comic accuracy does not always make suits better. There are far better suits lowerly ranked because they are not as goofy as the others, yet they look far better undeniably.

I love how bright Sam's suit is. Over time, Steve's suits got more and more muted (Dark blues, dirty whites, maroon, brown gloves, etc). It's also layered but not bulky. Even in the deep red lights or dark environments, the suit still pops. You can tell exactly what colours they are. If it was Steve's suits from Civil War onward (+ stealth suit), they would just look too dark to see any details

My favorite suits are the Smithsonian Cap suit, the Endgame suit, and the John Walker suit in no particular order. My favorite is the Smithsonian suit because it's so practical yet vibrant and comic book accurate. The only thing it's missing is the scales which probably wouldn't have worked on it anyway so it doesn't matter.

When the wings come out on Sam's Cap suit, he looks like an Angel of Hope, or something. It's incredible. It just needs a reimagining for the helmet. I think Steve's strike suit was one of his best. The Nomad suit was presumably called that because he was a nomad at the time, not because it was directly invoking the comics Nomad suit.

Probably my only real gripe about Sam's Cap suit is that the shoulders look a bit too padded. I want those parts slightly trimmed down a bit. And slim down the white on the shoulders too mainly. Then it would be perfect.

John Walker: Cap suit < US Agent suit Sam: 4:Winter Soldier suit (I don’t mind the reasoning behind it but it just looks boring to me) 3:2nd suit (nice mix of Classic Falcon with the MCU style, looks good, but could be better) 2:FatWS suit (seriously wish we could’ve had more time with this suit cause it looks so good) 1:Captain America suit (perfect MCU version of the suit from the comics (now why in the ever loving heck is Sam getting a different suit for New World Order Marvel?) Steve: 10:Rescue Mission suit (worked alright but it didn’t feel very Cap beyond the shield, helmet, and bit of the USO suit we could see) 9:USO suit (don’t mind the look but I’m not big on using the classic suits like this as a joke especially for Vision in WandaVision when Wanda called it “ridiculous”, it just feels like the MCU not really respecting those suits, if you’re gonna throw shade like that, just leave the suits be) 8:Infinity War suit (looked good, had nice subtle details for Steve at the time, not much for me to say personally) 7:Avengers 1 suit (it’s the same deal with the Flash’s Season 5 suit for me, the suit itself is good and very comic-accurate which is great, it’s just the helmet that messes it up, I still think it’s a really good suit) 6:First Avenger suit (WW2 outfit with a Cap flair which was very good) 5:Civil War suit (on its own, it’s a very good suit even when I’m not completely a fan of the colors on it, but why does it even exist when we had the Age of Ultron suit) 4:Smithsonian suit (the First Avenger suit but even better, “that’s all folks”) 3:Endgame suit (wish the colors could’ve been brighter and have the white on the arms like the Age of Ultron suit (maybe even have red gloves and boots with that like some edits I’ve seen of the suit which look so good), but it was awesome to finally see the scales, great final suit for Steve) 2:Winter Soldier Stealth suit (I’m not even really sure how to describe it, I just think it looks awesome (and it’s based off the Secret Avengers/S.H.I.E.L.D. director suit from the comics, so that’s a plus) 1:Age of Ultron suit (maybe could’ve had a bit less spots of red on it (still fine with that though), but I love the design overall, the colors, and the white on the arms) (If Sam and Walker’s Cap suits had been included with Steve’s, Walker’s would’ve been at #8, and Sam’s at #3)

Boots and gloves don't flare the suit does not show off his physique and the blue-green is incorrect it should be ultramarine. All in all Its a concept that should have been developed.

I'm not gonna lie, I spent years thinking the Captain America suit had a helmet the whole time in all media and that is because of First Avenger. I did not realize he was supposed to be wearing a mask and now actually-masked Captain America just looks wrong in my head. I mean, does he even need a mask? I think first Falcon uniform was the best. Kind of bulky...but looks like it's real thing. What I really don't like is Falcon final Capitain America suit in TV series. I do wanna point out something that i recently learned about with the John Walker suit, and that’s the reason why there is a distinct missing of the white. White is usually a color of innocence or rather, goodness in general. John Walker was not at all an innocent Cap, but when you think about the Strike outfit from Winter Soldier, it makes sense. This movie saw Cap devolve more into him being the Nomad, not trusting the government worth two shits anymore. However, I think the missing of the Red also has a meaning here, signifying that while Cap had lost his innocent naivety towards the government and how immoral they can be, and how they can be manipulated easily as long as someone has connections, he is not being irrational, rage fueled, he isn’t a bad guy in general. He was angry at the government, going it alone for this movie, and still not trusting them in Civil War, but not enough to become a monster like Walker. He is out to protect the American people, but is ok with not doing it with the government, hence the missing White, but is not bad, hence the missing red. Blue is generally a color associated with hope, so it makes sense why he is still blue here as well.

My biggest issue with the Age Of Ultron (Stark Mark I) suit is the red elements on the chest around the star. It's just unnecessary. Get rid of that and it looks much better. I was never a big fan of the Sam Cap suit in the comics. The headpiece again seems like an unneeded aesthetic when he could just wear goggles, and it seemed too busy with much of the white striping. But I admit that it looks better moving in physical form.
