It might not be Congover yet, Congorilla has a healing factor in the comics, he’s healed from being shot,stabbed and beaten very badly, the only time I recall him actually dying was the Flashpoint timeline where Gorilla Grodd had to Decapitate him and rip his head off!

I do hope Circee plays a major villain role in a Wonder Woman project, hopefully in the upcoming Paradise Lost series in development, because she is most famously a Wonder Woman villain and one of her most personal enemies. I'd also love to see Clayface or even Rupert Thorne show up in the upcoming DCU Batman: Brave and the Bold movie.

Robot, Doctor Phosphorus, Nina, Circe, Weasel, and Frankenstein will be my favorites I am really interested in Rick Flag Sr. And The Bride especially being the main leads, I really can’t wait till December I’m so hyped for this series.

I can definitely see her pulling strings and manipulating other villains in the show to confront the Creature Commandos. I have a theory that this version of Rick Flag deals with metas and such. The fight with Clayface could be him apprehending him before he is sent to lead the Commandos. I’d also like to back this up with Flag arresting Superman in the leaks of the Superman movie. Also might be how he knows Frankenstein as maybe he was someone he tried to apprehend but they became allies.

And if suicide squad 1 is canon to tss well mos, bus and jl are canon. You see it makes zero sense. Gunn can’t play the nepotism card with his dceu projects. The average movie person won’t understand the complicated continuity. Not to mention the opportunity for a full on reboot was there when he went to dc. They literally could’ve used the flash as a in canon explanation for a reboot. But no, they’re playing “loose with the canon”. Unbelievable. The ideal start for the dcu should Superman as the first movie and lanterns as the first tv show to lay the groundwork for what we can expect from the dcu.

Funfact about Rick Flag Sr. he was the one who started the original Suicide Squad rather than be supervillains they were a crack team of soldiers who were willingly to serve missions that could otherwise kill them. Flag Sr. would go onto to lead the actual Suicide Squad. However modern comics retconed Jr as the commandoes CO while Sr lead the original.

If i remember Mira Mirzerski was the biological father who created the ogCreature Commandos. it was implied in the comics she was behind the modern creature commandos and was willingly transformed into a monster to join them as she was sympathetic towards them like the character the original character Gorgon.

Congorilla was one of the best parts of James Robinson's run of the Justice League. I love that character, and more importantly, DC famously loves its gorillas. If the Bride did kill Congorilla, it immediately cast a bad light on this series from day one. I don't mind him getting his ass kicked but he is supposed to be virtually immortal. Surely Gunn knows his history well enough not to kill the big guy off. You never know when you might need a gorilla that can grow to become a super strong golden King Kong.

I had Firestorm number 1 and have love for that character and would love to see a better version than the cw. His powers are so versatile and he has few weaknesses. His nuclear plasma blasts and ability to fly even in space by themselves are awesome but then factor in atomic manipulation and matter creation and wow. He needs his own movie. If blue beetle (i prefer the original or 80s ones) can get a movie, cmon dudes.
