Every Character Who is Appearing in Creature Commandos

On December 5th, 2024, the DCU will officially begin with what James Gunn has called an appetizer before the main meal that is Superman, Creature Commandos, a 7 episode animated series airing on MAX that focuses on a monster based version of the Suicide Squad. Initially we got a full cast reveal but ever since, more and more details about those characters as well as other characters appearing have been revealed and in this video i’ll be breaking that down, explaining every character who has been confirmed to appear in Creature Commandos and everything we know about them.

I wonder if there will be any cheeky reference to Dr. Phosphorous being similar to Blight, who audiences are a lot more familiar with. It's always funny whenever a character has to live up to a wider audience vs. their more popular rip-off. Darkseid (Thanos), Peacemaker (The Comedian), and soon Deathstroke (Deadpool).

I do hope Circee plays a major villain role in a Wonder Woman project, hopefully in the upcoming Paradise Lost series in development, because she is most famously a Wonder Woman villain and one of her most personal enemies. I'd also love to see Clayface or even Rupert Thorne show up in the upcoming DCU Batman: Brave and the Bold movie.

I can definitely see her pulling strings and manipulating other villains in the show to confront the Creature Commandos. Hopefully she’ll be a reccurring villain and a serious threat not only to them but to Wonder Woman and the Justice League as well.

Tbf I think "loose canon" basicslly just means the JL cameo in Peacemaker didnt happen and also leaves room if they need to recast anyone. I think all the same events in TSS and Peacemake like Starro, the butterflys, Peacemakers dad dieing etc happened

That’s sum bs. They should’ve scrapped that and this and just have started with Superman and let that be the launch point for the dcu. It’s not even a full on reboot, it’s really a soft reboot which seems pointless when you start fresh with no prior connections to the dceu.

I’m interested to see what Clayface is doing in this series I already can tell bc of G.I. Robot, Doctor Phosphorus, Nina, Circe, Weasel, and Frankenstein will be my favorites I am really interested in Rick Flag Sr. And The Bride especially being the main leads, I really can’t wait till December I’m so hyped for this series.

I have a theory that this version of Rick Flag deals with metas and such. The fight with Clayface could be him apprehending him before he is sent to lead the Commandos. I’d also like to back this up with Flag arresting Superman in the leaks of the Superman movie. Also might be how he knows Frankenstein as maybe he was someone he tried to apprehend but they became allies.
