likewise I get my OSRS fix through creators. I figured out awhile ago like once I hit my goals in osrs on my hcim I contemplate if I REALLY want to sink 500+ hours into doing something just doesn't feel as worth it anymore. Snowflakes and Snowflake communties though are best.

BIG props to Link, going for amulet/ ring when the randomizer is still low was a 200IQ move, spinning weapon this early was just nonsense, even a rune item would not have been that big imo. come on rargh we need better strategies😅

I get that, but I think going one spin on ring and maybe 4 on weapon to go for a rune sword/skimmy or even a rune/addy dagger p would carry you. For the next episode I think Rargh should go for overheads and get a Holy symbol. As well as work towards 38 herblore. If he dumped it all in he would be a little over 36 herblore. However maybe putting more of the xp into prayer and just a bit into herblore would be more time efficient.

@@lotoex Yeah but for me the opportunity cost of going weapon were just too high, since he can get even better weapons pretty soon by randomizer or go for zammy warriors for rune dagger/ scim, although they might by a bit too good rn to kill. Overheads definetely a good plan to go for, herblore probably aswell. A sudden shift to range would be hilarious aswell :D Long story short, great series as always

Rargh rolling for weapons when he's using Addy already is insanity. There's 5 whole tiers that are just objectively worse and Addy that's a sidegrade at best. I genuinely wouldn't be surprised if it was like a 10% chance of getting something that's actually better than an addy sword. It's hard being TeamRargh today.

Not to mention rune scimmy is easy to get from ouriana altar with mage fire strike lol. Weapons just not at all good choice. Link was not even 5 head just at a base level was doing it correctly. Game is pure rng...play the odds. Kins's brain is just not working this episode hopefully he chsnges mobing forward. Sad to see link lose some of these fights when overall he is killing it❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉❤🎉

Kinz doesn't always make the smartest decisions that is true, but you can't deny the Link RNG is always strong, one ticking a fury while Kinnoz is spinning steel knives and a bronze pick axe is just hilarious and continues that theme. I am English so should be firmly team Link, but I can't help but rooting for Raargh most of the time, I always love the underdog.

Since Link was thinking about alching the ring when he got it, it meant that if he had done so for 9k and then spun another one, he would be still profiting from it. So either make it so you can keep the previous roles or that you can't alch or sell them back.

yeahhh... I figure the obvious meta is using the rolls on items you just.. cant easily get on your own. Its so easy to get a rune scimitar or a dragon scimmy with standard progression i cant fathom why theyd spend rolls on it pre-70/75 unlocks. Same with legs since you can get rune or dragon legs fairly easily from like revenants when they get a way to earn even half decent gp like agi pyramid in 1-2 exp drops from episodes. And barrows just sorts you on armor if they actually train to 70 defense. on the other hand though, amulets, rings, shields and boots are really really hard to get good unlocks for if youre grinding it yourself and randomizer can come in clutch. tldr: I think meta is get what gear you can yourself easily, roll for the gearslots that you cant really get yourself ironman style.

Sort of like at 30/40/50 level sliding scale? Or do you reckon getting unlocks becomes easy enough in future episodes? Cause it would suck to roll really bad items 9/10.

I love this series, i just hope y'all add more time to the timer in the later episodes to mkae sure you can train more allowing for different stratigies like ever couple of episodes add 2 hours to the clock with a max of 8 hours

Yeah i feel like rolling weapons with a level 50 cap is a horrible idea. Especially when you consider capes and jewelry have no requirements for the most part. Amulet of power or higher would've been big. edit: typed that before link's 1st roll then got to it and yeah. huge.

Agreed. The maths at the level 50 cap would honestly be horribly skewed towards getting a low tier weapon surely. I'm not even sure I'd be rolling armour before barrows has opened up

Would be kind of cool if you set baselines for collection log items equating to base levels on the spinner. Maybe 10 collection log items puts the base level for items at 10. Creates some additional incentive to knock out the collection log but still creates some balance on training vs log slots. Great series so far, looking forward to more episodes!

One thing with the 'xp lamps' in whatever skill you want. Obviously you put it into combat and got 'free hp xp' so... put it into slayer, then you get free combat xp and hp xp. Probably a lot more combat xp overall than you'd get from just putting the xp straight into a skill.
