Great little gray man EDC bag. You can also attach the LV6 to this pack and get another 3 liters and have a removable single shoulder pack. Which is largely why I like this one over the Vertx Gamut 2.0

Just bought one they removed the laser cut molle! I’m happy it seemed very unusable.

Awesome bag...i love that its just a back pack to the naked eye! Very greyman yet super versatile. I edc the 5.11 dart 24 for the same reason, although I dig the smaller stature of this pack!

I'm thinking about buying the Vertx EDC Ready Pack or the 5.11 LV18 backpack: Has anyone had both of them and can give me a honest answer on which one to buy. I plan to use it as a EDC backpack to keep with me when I travel 1-2 days a week for work. I'm also a legal concealed carry guy. Thank you!

I am on the edge as you! I am going to get the lv18 at the end because I also have the lv6 wait pack that I carry as EDC and the fact that I can attach the lv6 to the lv18 works better for me.

Yes sir, I have both. My biggest complaint about the vertex bags is that they are not very comfortable

I've tried a few myself. Oakley, VooDoo Tactical, NORTHFACE, OGIO, FLYING Circle, SOG and 5.11RUSH 12/24. I decided on the 5.11 RUSH 12. Plenty of space for my needs and lots of molle for attaching external necessities. Also can attach other molle type backpacks/pouches with 5.11's TIER straps. Pack what you can carry. My RUSH12 weighs in at 30 pounds loaded. Good luck in finding the right bag for you.Stay Ready!
