The snails were surprisingly very terrifying at times. Like how grains was chasing him and jump scared him. Or how his also got him in a dead end and slowly went through the tunnel. The concept itself is part of it. Always chasing. Always near. And the fact they could kill you by 1. Touching you. 2. Drowning you 3. Teleporting straight to you after being trapped. Or 4. Chasing you till you died to something else. The fact they can't be stopped was worse. And when one was invis and killed scar it was actually tense. I mean if one of you or your comrades was being chased by an invisible unkillable entity what would you do? Especially if you have no idea WHO it's chasing specifically

I think this is exactly why everyone was given six lives instead of the traditional three cuz this series is going to be deadlier than the others. Not counting stolen lives, the max amount of deaths that can happen is 107. So unless a wildcard can give some lives back and a lot of lives get traded around from kills, Limited Life remains king.
