Well I wouldn't be too sure about it. I believe atleast Nightfall must have been to final space since she has that thing to cure the poison. I believe in most other Universes they tried to save Gary but failed. Gary is the glue that keeps their team together. His mother as example would never join without him. I believe the team wouldn't stay together or wouldn't have the same people join. So they don't have the qualities they need to enter final space. Also maybe the connection to Bolo?

The saddest death of all is the cancelation of this serie when it got so damn good in season 3. My wife and I have been watching it since season one and even though two wasn’t that good, the third one was incredible. We literally saw the entire season in one go, specially enjoying the fact that they tuned down the idiotic randomness and put some coherent into the characters and story. Season 3 was an amazing season, to bad we won’t get a fourth or not even a movie to close the story.

5:31 What fucked me up was Alternate Gary, and the _way he despairs_ at how Quinn never came for him. For those who don't understand the complexity of it: In every timeline that existed besides this one, Gary had sacrificed himself in Final Space every single time that the portal to it was opened, leaving Quinn behind, in order to prevent the portal to cause damage to the Universe. But in one instance, Knightfall (One of the timeline's alternate Quinns) sets the series of events that leads to the show's happening by entering one timeline in the right place at the right time; leading "The Gary" (as Lord Commander calls him) to watch Quinn be trapped in Final Space instead. Gary, of course, doesn't let this go. And with Bolo's help, fights his way to finding a way into Final Space. And he succeeds, despite the challenges he faced along the way, he succeeds. He rescues Quinn, and Season 3 proceeds with the disturbing knowledge that _every single Gary that has ever sacrificed himself_ is still stuck there now reanimated to fight against our protagonist. Season 3 goes along with it's traumatic sequence of events, and we come to this scene. Alternate Gary described himself drowning in an ocean of space, remembering his death. He traumatically recalls that every one of him sacrificed their lives. _Every single one. Except for "The Gary."_ Gary was willing to fight against the Universe itself to bring Quinn back from the Brink. Even going as far as sharing her pain with him in the most physical way possible. Quinn, however, never came back for him. And all of this was said with only a few lines of dialogue spoken between the two.

It makes sense that Quinn is never able to save Gary. In every timeline where Gary dies, Mooncake goes crazy and opens the doors to Final Space. Without Mooncake, Quinn is unable to unlock the 6 interdimensional keys. There is still something not clear though, how did Nightfall meet Kevin Van Newton? Apparently it was in Final Space but I do not remember her mentioning it. She seems to present that no one returns from Final Space. Yet here we see Quinn becoming Nightfall by staying in Final Space. Still so many unresolved questions linked to Nightfall Edit: Actually it makes sense if Mooncake opens Final Space everytime Gary's dies. No need to unlock the 6 keys when it's already wide open. I guess Nightfall survived in a universe close to what we were going to see in Season 4

What I loved about Final Space season 1 and was lost in season 2 was how every character could just die all the sudden, that feeling made me appreciate every character even more knowing that they could simply die. Luckily season 3 brought back that feeling, maybe a little too much….

I kinda feel like AVA's death was something that wasn't supposed to happen, after her arc with hue in S2. It felt like Olan wanted to make a small story thread with AVA and hue having to share a body, but olan already had to much content prepared for S3. So rather that do the typical "lets do it but make it half-assed and a waste of time" He opted to kinda sideline it so it didn't take up time, which was a good call considering how full S3 was as a season. It's kind of like having a 5/6 full glass of water, and either taking the glass as it is for filling it completely

Knowing that this was cancelled and season 4 won't come, Invictus basically won honestly, there was a lot of deaths already and fails, and since invictus has escaped, pretty much everything is over now and there's no one to stop him, only the ones that will try and be finished by an instant.

The situation is completely hopeless. The crew is by themselves, seemingly no allies anywhere in the universe and without any weapon strong enough to stand against Invictus. Everything they had that could help them fight against Invictus, Bolo, Mooncake, KVN Net, Arachnitecs, are all gone. So there's a good possibility that this might be truly the end of Final Space. Invictus won. The heroes lost. Not a happy ending like any other shows that we have watched. For me I would be happy to accept this ending, because it reminds me that heroes can't win everytime. And it's what makes the show great.

the arachnitecs that died in ss 3 r the ones in final space. they were responsible for binding the titans but invictus fucked them up by freeing the titans and they were slaughtered. the ones killed by invictus and the lord commander were the last of the arachnitecs in final space. there r still some arachnitecs left on the outside of final space(the ones that kidnapped mooncake and opened the door to final space for gary's crew and bolo). if the show wasn't canceled, they would've figured something out. i mean invictus was free from his prison. which means there could've been a way to trap him again. but we're never going to see or know what trapped him and how he was trapped in the first place because the show's cancled. this show is one of my favorites and always will be

This third season really was an emotional roller coaster, even though they lost a bit of the dramatic flair in the second, they really managed to bring it back and make it bigger in season 3. Making emotional and sad even the death of minor character like Clarence or Kevin is proof of that.

It was cancelled by Warner Bros as for a “tax write off”, so stupid. They don’t see the potential in adult animation. Luckily though they’ve just recently given Olan the go ahead to finish Final Space with a graphic novel.
