Dan has said the first lawn gnome backstory and Balloony are his favorites but even more impressive the first backstory came because a storyboard artist asked why destroying lawn gnomes was important to Doof and Dan responded does he need a reason and the storyboard artist said I would like one and Dan told him to make one and Doof being forced to be a lawn gnome as a child backstory was born.

@@isaacmurdock it's because of his parents he became the way he's are, and i blame not only them, but also the others whos been treating him like that, he didn't committed anything like Bart Simpson when he was was born, but Heinz's parents were acting like he did, and somehow they left the hospital so they wouldn't seen him for a while, despite that his mother were supped to resting after the childbirth, it's not actually easy to flea away after such a surgery, somewhy they've treated his younger brother differently, after the movie projector was ruined, Linda decide to break up with him so much despite that he didn't meant to ruin anything, but ever since that day, after Linda said about starting about the Tri-state area, he decide to be a villain, yes even at United States he weren't that lucky, just situations alike from him homeland which doesn't exist, even Perry couldn't allowing him to fulfilling his doings, he doesn't have to coming after him if he's not doing anything what have to do with conquering and anything criminal, i wish he could help Heinz to get reducated instead of just pummeling him, but even Monogram can be hateful, he's not allways thankful to carl, he's not perfect at being a good man that much, but Heinz really need a better help.

7:08, funny enough, that flashback was supposed to DISPROVE the theory. Doof clearly states "i never saw her again". Candace and Phineas are full brother and sister, not step or half. They have the same father. EVERYONE jumps to Phineas' dad, when Candace would need to be born at LEAST 5 years prior

Doof's backstory makes a lot of sense if you assume he was born from an affair. Neither of his parents showed up for his birth, because his father cheated with another woman. He was raised by ocelots, because the mom he doesn't remember left his infant self in the woods to die. The whole community seems to be out to get him, because they don't approve of bastard children. His parents give so much love to Roger, because that kid was actually theirs.

That doesn't make sense, considering his parents were never implied to be going through an affair. I think the parents just left him or forgot about him, allowing him to be raised by ocelots, and then they found him again. I forgot what happened exactly in that episode, but I think it was something like that. His parents even have the same last name as him. They clearly are his birth parents. His backstory is supposed to be both sad at times and comedic. Neither of his birth parents showing up for his birth somehow is one of those comedic moments.
