So I made this entire video in the span of a month. It was a long and crazy journey, but here we are. I want to thank a few people that gave me some support and feedback during the process of making this video: Nikki, Kuro, Nathanial Bandy, Shadow Streak and MonstersReview all helped keep me sane on the long nights I spent working on this. Thank you guys so much. As for everyone else, I really hope you enjoy this little experiment in expanding the series. SpongeBob Season 10 is estimated to come out in late September.

Slade's (well, Deathstroke) motivation on the comics is: 1-He is usually hired by someone else. Literally nothing personal. 2-The reason he hates the titans is because he blames them for the death of his son.

Fairly OddParents would be perfect since it's Nickelodeon's other long-running series. Plus, it had so many classic episodes in its early days just like SpongeBob. I always preferred FOP over SpongeBob.

@@RyanStorey1231 Plus, FOP fan debate when the show got bad and went downhill, just like Spongebob. To me, i noticed a decline in season 6 as the show got more loud, more hyper, starting having forced dialog, the humor started to rely on repetitive running gags that repeat themselves and get shoved down your throat, and it started to have elements of squash and stretch which as never included in the first 5 seasons, feeling weird and out of place as it's something you'd see in shows like Ren and Stimpy and Rockos Modern Life. And season 7 was when I felt the show overstayed its welcome. So, i stopped watching the show for good on how loud, hyper, annoying, repetitive, and mean spirited it has become and I never saw another episode again, I ended up outgrowing it, and gained a personal grudge against it based on how it overstayed it welcome and going on for too long. It went from being a really good show to being one of those shows I can't stand and tolerate anymore.

My Ranking and thoughts on Season 1 Note: I am partially ranking this partially based on how close these episodes were to my childhood. 13.Deep Six - Half the episode goes by before Aqualad introduces himself so I find it boring.-Bad 12.Forces of Nature-I actually felt there was good character development among Thunder and Lightning but I also feel it is a bit boring.-Okay 11.Final Exam-Good fights but too much of it and little plot but I felt Gizmo is HILARIOUS.-Okay 10.Car Trouble-What you said but I also feel Gizmo is HILARIOUS.-Good 9. Divide and Conquer-Lots of fighting, little plot and plot holes but good animation and Character development.-Good 8. Switched-The plot is unoriginal but I felt it was executed in a fun way it just needed more details.-Good 7. Apprentice Part I- I just find it a little bit odd how much different the plot is from Part II but I like it. -Good 6. Masks- I feel like it was pushing the line early on but again I like it. -Good 5. Apprentice Part II- A rip-off of Masks but darker and better. -Good 4. Sisters- Full of heart.- Great 3.The Sum of His Parts- An episode where for once you can see both sides that are not necessarily bad and the side that is in the wrong is taught a lesson along with my love for Mumbo. -Great 2. Mad Mod / Detention- SO MUCH FUN!!!!!! -Great 1. Nevermore- How to make a character be the center without focus on it in 22 minutes. -Great Story Ark Analysis: I personally liked it I just wish it was connected better.-Good, 3/5 on my story arc ranking. Final Verdict: This over all a good season with a good story arc but has some episodes outside of the story arc which I think are better than the story arc.-Good Season, 3/5 on my season ranking.

Forces Of Nature is bad? Aw, it’s actually my favorite episode from the season. Oh well. One thing I didn’t like about this video was that it revealed how each episode compared to the rest way too early, which meant we had a rough idea of how many great episodes they were. It wouldn’t been better if you only listed the episodes worst to best at the end. Overall, really solid video and it will definitely keep me going until the season 10 video next month, which I’m really excited for.

I think the issue in forces of nature is more that with BB’s prank, He is unwilling to apologize to the unwitting victim. The prank was not meant for Starfire and thus could have hurt her (given her vastly different body structure and size from Cyborg). Despite this, he avoids giving an apology and tries to laugh it off, making him seem like an uncaring ass.

Love the format of this! Slade is by-far my favorite part of the entire series. The way he acts so brutal and how far he goes in his plans is just very unsettling, and his interactions with Robin just put that higher.

I think there is a bigger chance people beg him for Young Justice rather than Teen Titans, since it shares a similar premise (young superhero team based on the Teen Titans comics) and Robin, Kid Flash, Beast Boy and Slade/Deathstroke appear, although the last two have small roles.

+Cande Excalante There actually are a couple of Young Justice books from the late 90s and early 2000s. Not too many people remember them very well due to the roster starring some lower-tier B-List sidekick characters (and also Tim Drake) compared to the bigger names in the Teen Titans books at the time, but they were still a thing.

Those books alsosold better than the Teen Titans book at the time. It was also one of the main inspirations of the 2003 Teen Titans cartoon, due to their heavy focus on comedy (which is kinda ironic considering how the 2011 show ended up taking itself very seriously).

You are a lot nicer to most of these episodes than I was when I watched them. Of course the 3 "real" Slade episodes are great, and I enjoy switched and fractured (not enough to call them great, but they're good), but you have much higher opinions of Sisters and Sum of His Parts (personally I thought Only Human was done better, so I'm interesting in seeing your take.) I'm mostly just surprised to see a great season already, especially because in my rewatch I found season 1 to be significantly worse than seasons 2-4, so I'm excited to see if you agree or if you actually enjoy this season more than the later ones.

Nice way to show what's Season 1 is about by the way since this season focuses on Robin and his obsession with Slade. I wonder if you'll continue this trend with the other season since every member of the Teen Titans has a season focusing them expect Starfire because for reason that I completely don't know they made one for Terra and it's literally Season 2!

Dang it, I REALLY want to watch this video, but I still haven't watched season one myself. Teen Titans is one of those shows I wouldn't change the channel on when I ended up on it, and I enjoyed it for what it was, but never went out of my way to watch it because I was never into superheroes as a kid. I've been getting into them lately, but I wasn't going to watch Teen Titans until I was caught up on the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and at the moment I'm only up to The Avengers. One thing at a time, you know? I think I can get a hold of season one in a week, but I guess I can't watch this one until then, unfortunately. I'm definitely glad you decided to go forward with branching out with the every-episode format though, PieGuy! I wish you the best of success with this.

Fun Fact: Final Exam was supposed to be the first episode as that was the pitch episode and the one they show to advertisers. But the heads over at WB thought that divide and conquer would be a better premiere episode. Since kids who only knew Robin wouldn't stop watching the episode as soon as his fake death happened

Deep Six is not a slight on beastboy. Beastboy is characterized as immature. He came from another hero group that in this situation in Deep Six he WOULD have had it as his own mission. I don't see Beastboy being immature in two episodes and then all of a sudden he is mature enough to share a mission with someone he never met before? this is showing growth. Foces of Natureit never felt like he learned much.Nevermore he came to the conclusion himself that he had to try harder to work with Raven . Deep Six he had to let go of ego with someone OUTSIDE of the team. It is usually easy to share or let go of your ego with your friends but I think it would be harder with outsiders.

I always thought that in final exam, slade possibly leaked the info to robin. Robin in turn told everyone to take a dive, to trick the hive. This in turn, lead them to thoroughly kicking their asses in the follow up battle. Otherwise, Beast boy forgot he could turn into a dinosaur the previous battle for no reason.

The odd quirk of Teen Titans is the weird name switch, Slade Wilson is the real name of Deathstroke, but because cartoons can’t have the word death in them they changed his name to Slade. Which adds this weird kind of thing where when you think about it Robin should not be having so much trouble finding out who Slade is, he would be having trouble finding out who Deathstroke is. It be like: “ i’ve searched and I’ve searched tirelessly for the last week but there just isn’t any information on this Wayne guy.”

I don't know about the prank thing. They established that Beastboy pranked the Tower on a constant basis. If you have someone doing this almost every day but then they get their comeuppance. You wouldn't find that a bit amusing like karma? Also just because someone is used to getting nasty stuff on them, it doesn't mean they want that to happen at home. But I agree that the lesson in that episode is hamfisted in Forces of Nature.

Huh. I guess I really haven’t seen season 1 in a while... also, Cyborg was always my favorite Titan. I guess I see why now, the whole disability thing made me relate to him since I have a mental disorder. So I always felt his episodes that focused on that spoke to me. I especially like how PieGuy put it. “Not letting your disability rule you, but also not ignoring it.” I know it’s mostly about physical, but I guess you could substitute it for just about ANY kind of disorder/disability Not only that, but he’s just simply cool! He can lift extremely heavy objects, shoot that laser canon... well, as a kid that’s all I thought of him as. Really it makes a lot of sense now why I’d like him.
