I think you’re all right. He wasn’t scared to die, he wasn’t scared of negan, and he wanted the rest of the group to be okay too. The situation, regardless of who you are though is still scary and intense. And I’m sure he would’ve liked to make it out alive and would’ve been relieved.

The episode's title, "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be," refers to a phrase said by the character Dr. Edwin Jenner in the Season 1 finale. Jenner warns the survivors in that episode that "the day will come when you won't be," meaning that death is an unavoidable element of their life in the post-apocalyptic world despite its dangerous nature. Negan, ironically, is one of those natural threats. He is notorious for his violent and ruthless behavior, and this episode highlights that in this post-apocalyptic world, no one is safe. I believe the showrunners at that time already understood how this episode would be titled.

Morgan might've changed due to having been forced to end his son's life, a clearly traumatic experience and one which would've been something extremely hard to recover from and he had to cope (like ACTUALLY, not in the way we say in cringey manner for fun or to be the winner in a debate/argument) and come to terms with it.

Nah that's not the reason. When we see Morgan in the episode where he's gone crazy and is living in a room full of guns, it is AFTER he killed his son. We know this because he wrote something on the wall along the lines of "Dwayne turned" which can be seen in that episode. The real reason Morgan returned to sanity and had a drastic change in philosophy/world view was because he met that Aikido dude and trained with him for a period of time. There was an entire episode dedicated to it in season 6 and Howesenberg himself discusses it in this very video.

Hey @HowesenbergFilms, lower caliber bullets ricochet especially when fired at an angle towards hard objects, I bet that when Ron fired his gun the bullet hit the ground at an angle, the ground absorbed most of the bullets energy, then it ricocheted into Carl's eye most likely at an angle as well explaining why it didn't go through Carl's head.

Re-watching earlier seasons of Walking Dead its quite jarring seeing Morgan killing innocent people. I know he lost his mind after witnessing what happened to his son, but damn. He was a full on bad guy at one point, now in Fear the Walking Dead he's the hero lol

Actually you're wrong about Carl getting shot, Ron was aiming at Rick not Carl, and when he shoots it's at exact height to Carl's. Also when it comes to Glen, i still don't understand why the walkers didn't crawl undeneath the dumpster to eat him, he pretty much has the plot armor of anime character.

1 way they could have gotten away with it was showing Glenn purposefully getting dirty with blood and guts by "eating" Ron with the walkers. A more gruesome version of the walker gut suit. He wouldn't eat Ron, just bite and rip bits out if him to cover his face in blood while the walkers cover the rest of him naturally by ripping Ron open. They could of made it work, but didn't. Would also be Glenn's version of murder coat rick.
