Didn't see a total for all the eggs needed so in case people are wondering, it's 28 of each type of egg for all 37 items so far. The Arch and Zipper Toy aren't available yet, but they will take the total up to 34 of each egg. As for Nook Mile Island rocks. I've had 6 from a single rock and one of my villagers has said that those islands rocks have a higher chance to give out eggs because they're "in the wild" so take that as you will. Happy hunting!

So, if you talk to your villager's throughout the day, they actually recommend going to the island's for egg related resources. So, no surprises there. I don't think those dig spot's do respawn. If they do, they're on a really, really long timer. I still have yet to see any respawns.

Tip: trees can only drop 3 "axe" resources per day. Swinging more than 3 times only wastes durability. Also, you can use (Y) to fill in holes with your foot, saving shovel durability.

also to be noted after you craft the bunny day toy and bunny day wand on April 12th, if you go back to Zippy and give him one of each egg he will give you the bunny day egg basket. This is just a item and not a recipe. You can get as many as you like as long as you have one of each egg to give him..

If you really run low on earth and tree eggs and can't get Nook Miles tickets, there is another way to get more. Every player profile gets their own unique earth and tree egg spawns. It doesn't work for the rocks, though. Of course you can also time travel to get more spawns if you want to play that way.

When you craft something, it gets a check mark in your DIY app confirming you have crafted it before. Pretty sure this is all the game is looking for, since otherwise you wouldn't have space in your inventory for everything! Put another way, I don't think the game cares what you do with the items, just that you have crafted them at some point.

Worth noting, there's no real NEED per se to complete the collection first time around. Unlike f2p or standard online games, Animal Crossing's events will be there year in year out. If you miss something this year, next year you can try again :) I gotta say, its not too difficult to get these eggs, so either way it's not undoable really.

Izzy Bloomfield same I tried everything. I am new to the switch so I had no idea you had to make a Nintendo account then I went on my switch and linked the account a boom the bunny appeared

You probably need to download the update. If you go to the title screen you can see the version in the top right corner. As of now it should be 1.1.3a. If not, completely close out of the game and reopen it and it should prompt you to download an update.

I've gotten 22 Earth Eggs and haven't unlocked the outfit recipes yet. All the other ones were unlocked between 10 and 15. Not sure what's taking so long with Earth.

The water eggs will always be either the size three or four (I forget) fish. They spawn pretty frequent so getting them is pretty easy :)

Chopping from coconut trees does not have higher chance of getting eggs. Same chance as regular trees.
