The alternate takes were combined with Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac and Mr. Wonderful album songs because for whatever reason, the primary versions of songs that appear on those albums are the deluxe edition alternate takes, therefore new listeners are more likely to listen to those rather than the original 1968 release versions (for example, if I didn't sum up the plays for Hellhound On My Trail, the song would only have 196,560 plays, making it unrealistically low in comparison to the rest of the album.) Some of these 'Wilderness Years' (post-Peter Green, pre-Buckingham/Nicks) songs that feature in the first half of the video are criminally underrated.

It's a good thing that I started recently getting into the pre-Buckingham/Nicks era for the first time since I never heard of the Peter Green and Bob Welch eras of FM in my entire life.

i’m a Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac fan myself. Oh Well, Albatross, Black Magic Woman, etc. 💚 I suppose this video just includes studio albums, but one of my fav PG’s FM songs is Jumping at Shadows, which was recorded live in Boston. truthfully, though, i could live without The Jeremy Spencer ripoffs of Elmore James.

yo I really appreciate your Videos and I was wondering if you are open to explore other genres as well. I''m a huge Fan of 90s Hip Hop and would love to see videos about wu tang clan, Mobb deep, Gang starr etc. I do get it if its not your cup of tee, but I don't know any other channel that does videos like these.

I did try making some videos on pop/rap artists on one of my other channels: www.youtube.com/@icreatevideosonyoutube Unfortunately I just couldn't get myself to enjoy making videos on a lot of the artists that everyone was requesting me to do there, so I ended up abandoning it, maybe someday somehow I'll return to it :D

Would love to see Joni Mitchell next, I know her songs has less streams on Spotify due to the Joe Rogan protest that happened 2 years back. Not sure if it's needed tho since people had streamed her music on Apple Music and her albums could be streamed on her KZbin channel when the Spotify protest was still affecting.
