I think you've fallen into the trap of thinking that the prestige value of decorative items is the percentage of decoration it will give. Different rooms have different sizes, and therefore need different amounts of prestige to reach 100% decoration. (The UI isn't exactly clear on this; it should probably show X/Y instead of %.)

To get the upgraded camping spot to work, its use spots must not interfere with any que spots from chests or vending machines. Also the chests don't give you their gold at the end of the day.

I'm actually wondering if the issues with the campsite might be caused by the potion vendors, since the queues seem to be going straight over the campfire and/or the seating areas, and not avoiding them like it does with other objects. I might have to check again but it seemed like when the small campfire worked was when you had less vending machines in that room. I could be completely wrong though. Also... MWHAHAHAHA! DEATH AWAITS ALL TO ENTER MY CHAMBERS! *Dies to first group* ...Oh bugger.

Perhapse a fun way how to sort out the party or not to party dilemma is to make them choose their path directly from the start. Table in the first room, but Every room after that is a 2+ monster fight room till they reach the boss. So they can stock up, get their party, few waves of very hard fights, boss and perhapse backtrack trough the 'easy' windy path.

I have come to the conclusion that the money in the chests disappears at the end of the day because it goes towards paying your monsters' salaries. I mean, we can't expect them to get brutally slaughtered over and over again for _free,_ right?

Thanks you for introducing me to this, I already have over five hours in the game. I think your layout could do with some reorganizing, I changed mine around completely when I unlocked the grouping tables so I could have them group up then funnel through several rooms with vendors. The best layout I've found so far had them going through a grouping room, then a vendor room, then a monster room or two then through a healing room (one with camps and healing wells) so that they can get back out through the monsters and then through the vendors again. The problem I've found most is that you quickly run out of potions for people and I haven't found a good solution for that yet unfortunately.

You CAN Adjust the prices of your POTION Vending Machines (pretty sure you can, theirs arrows in that UI) as well as your Dungeon Entry Fee. With how much gold the Heros are walking out with, maybe time to UP those Potion Prices. If this game HAD Clarics or Healers of some kind, Id imagine while they CAN HEAL FOR FREE, that uses up ALOT of Energy so they have to buy your Energy Positions to compensate. Your not the only one who finds it odd that their are only Warriors, Rangers and 2 Different Mages.

The UI does show that adventurers aren't gaining happiness in those rooms, but having them seems quite useful for the overall dungeon. It wouldn't do to have monsters constantly interrupting campsites, sales and quaffs.

I make room with 4 doors filled with vendors. Seems to work great. I make 4k a day with 25 people in the dungeon. Im on day 26.

@@0fficialr3d i mean vendors works really well but i doubt that you make 4k with 25 ppl only on day 26... i mean just a quick math the adventours bring on ava without any upgrades 25 gold so 25*25 = 625 gold they bring max to the dungeon from that you can get only 250 garantuee on entrance fee ( 10 gold is max to have all ppl enter you dungeon 100% of the time) that mean the rest must come from monster kills a monster brings depending on the difficulty on easy 19g on medium 15g and on hard 11 g without any upgrades(researsh or souls) so 625-4000= 3375/15(let take medium as ava) = 225 monsterns need to be killed(ok the number could be shunken down but my point still stands) on monster spawner with a monster cost 450 g......... it is not that i say you are lying but after over 100h in the game played mostly on hard i doubt you claim at least the last sentence

@mr.q8240 you gotta keep them in rooms long enough to fill and empty their pockets. It needs to be hard enough they almost die, so they buy lots of potions. Use 15x15 rooms only and rush for big potion vendors. It's not that hard, bro. Lots of pots and chests. Actually, it's very simple to get rich in dungeon tycoon.

@@0fficialr3d i know how it works and how much everything cost thats the reason i doubt your claim with 4k income and 25ppl on day 26.... and you explaination proves that you are taking nonsens ... let take a quick math season again .... 26*4000 = 104000g (which you cant get there is no argue about that but let keep playing with it) the room you mention cost about 2250g so for the pretige to get the ppl you need at least *hmmmmmm* 4 should be enought with the startiing room so 4 *2250 = 9000 ... so 104000-9000 = 95k g left but you also need to store all the money .. the best chest(money for buck and space ) cost 450g and can store up to 100 g so 4000/100 = 40 chests ....... so you dont need that many due to vendor let say 25 so 25 *450=11.250g issue even if go direct for it you need at least ( i dont know for sure ) 12 days and then you missing out on 1/2 vendors but lets forget that because there are more time issue like these besides money..... so 95k -11,25k =83,75k g left and as i said you still need vendors 25 chests *100 g = 2500g storage wich means you need 1500g left... to get the popularity for the pops ( with research only +7 are posible wich means you have 18 and still need +7) you cant raise the prizes so H-Pot 10 a piece E-Pot 15 a piece and Burgers 20 a piece they all have 5 uses and cost 250,375 and 500 each let middel that to make it easy ( which i hae to stress is not possible due to time) 15g/piece for 5pieces/375... so tldr 1500g/15g/piece = 100 pieces / 5 pieces = 20 * 375 =7500g so 83,75k-7,5k = 76,25k left..... so in the end i should cease defeat because lets say 75k are left in my calculations then i say please read again it all depends on 4k income and 25 ppl and the infrastructur complete to work...... iam sorry maybe on easy there is a way because as my math and my own experiece shows your not worng about the how to make money only you claim of 4k income 25ppl day 26 seems BS and you havent haven't change the fact.... what you are claiming to have accomlished is my whole spiel i allways restart the moment i find a more efficient beginning ( which to my shame is a lot from about 10 games only 1 passes day 30 on max speed and remember i have over 100h of gameplay (excluding the demo ^^) you do the math your self this time..... iam genuie if have a way please tell me iam looking for .... but spare me with obvious game mechanics.... we are talking about things like how to place your chests to influcene the pathfinding and staytime in a room ... in which order to lock your chests( yeah this matters in a min/maxing way ^^).... or vendors how the ai chooses what..... if you think that these things donest matter and/or even random then i know for a fact that you are talking BS else iam listing iam also willing to share of course

That's what I did, and it works great. Adventurer's going in with 1-2 potions and in a group does wonders for them cleaning the place out and being happy.

@@LargeGoblin Yes, that increase the survivability of the adventurers greatly. The only deaths came from the late loners that couldn't form a party. I have trouble with the campfire though.

It seems the adventurers don’t pathfind to potion dispensers, I’d suggest having them in hallways or near entrances to they have to see them. When they are off in a side room the raiders don’t use it

Would it be better to have 1 or 2 large rooms dedicated to vending machines that are lead into various parts of the dungeon versus more smaller rooms spread out? Might increase your happiness percentage.

They always buy potions after forming a group. Make the group room a gift shop and you make a lot. Give that room 3 doors into the dungeon, and they will walk back to buy more potions. I do every other room with a potion shop to empty them out. I get about 4k for 25 people.

I think the satisfaction rate is that of the SURVIVING heroes... So, the ones that don't get killed like the amount of loot they get in that room... All the ones that DO get killed provide them with more of that loot, and their opinions don't matter once they are dead...

Fun series so far! I think a door from the group to the bat room seems better so they can flow through to the rest of the dungeon instead of backtracking to the first room. Trying to just move the campfire spot without trying to move the dispensers as well seems like a futile thing as you just moved it 2 blocks, though this seems like a very annoying bug that was already part of the demo..

Dude. This isn't Dungeons 1. Waaaay too many deaths, and that's why your happy ratings are potato. Also you don't actually get their gold unless you spend souls. Also, any room without monsters is totally boring (according to the adventurers). Also, there's an advantage to having many chests/pots in a room since it keeps the adventurers in the room and causes them to "party" the monsters more than soloing them.

I might be missing something, but the camping spot and heal well cost as much as a dispenser, but provide no profit. And anyone who gets that far in the dungeon surely has more than enough money to buy potions... so they seem counterproductive compared to the option of raking in more money. I suppose they must provide happiness, but you really don't need that since you're maxxed on your rating until you can buy a lot more stuff.

Your first room is too crowded your adventurers spend so long in here killing the same monster 2/3 times and getting gold before moving on. I also think you are killing far too many adventurers each day with almost no one surviving
