Just some thoughts, would be good to go from low back to ultra in the same are back to back, in my opinion low looked a lot worse. Also wish you unlocked your frame rate and showed what it was, how much over 60 were you getting at all settings. Also if you are playing on a laptop a 4080 and i9 int he laptop are not the same as the desktop equivalent which is something to keep in mind. I'm hoping it runs better or at least as good as 22 at 1440p with my 5800x cpu and 6800xt GPU. Giants engine is not the best optimized though, it hardly used the CUP, maybe 1 or 2 cores max is my guess. That being said good video nice to see the difference in quality and know that turning stuff down to high from ultra really doesn't seem to be that different, maybe in the distance, but also we have access to DLSS or FSR3 frame gen again which is huge.

@UhOhKaze that might be okay but hard to say. I'd try to save for a 3060 or 4060 if possible. Look up Linus Tech tips, gamers nexus, hardware unboxed are all good channels with lots of info. Unfortunately, there's not really any performance charts out there for farming simulator for how good different hardware performs in it specifically

For people concerned about his spec's, a laptop 4080 is about equivalent to a 3080, or basically a 4060 and for AMD users 6600/6700 to run smooth on high, ultra will eat Vram and that is the limiting factor.

Hope i can run it on decent settings, 22 i ran fine except for the odd map with a ton of trees Running i9 9900k and 2080 super with 32gb ram so im crossing my fingers i can run it good, if it comes to it i can turn on lossless scaling and gain a few fake frames

I’ve found 25 to preform better than 22 personally. They recommend a 2070 and greater so you should be fine with your card.

I had to record on medium in FS22 and had no issue recording in ultra on FS25. I’d say that’s an improvement in performance for sure!

I avoided FPS because everyone has different machines. I could have added it though and will be mindful of that next time. Though, I did offer shots at the end in different settings. My goal was to provide a simple video showcasing the presets and that no matter which one you pick for your machine it will look and run better than previous FS titles. Example, in FS22 I had to record in medium because my laptop did not like anything higher while recording. In FS25, Ultra caused no issues at all.

I personally greatly disagree. I found it a bit unflattering at first but as you play it you see detail that 22 absolutely failed to provide. Playing it feels really nice and I’ve enjoyed it so far! I suggest everyone spend a little time in game before making up their mind. Maybe utilize the Steam return policy and spent an hour or two trying it out! :)
