Victoria-Claymore Change! Just a heads up, everybody… the UPS bug-fix version you see on Discord’s Download section has a slight change. Chapter 29 has Victoria get the Claymore by waiting on the Armory, while Caroline gets the Claymore by waiting on the Vendor.

Didn’t realize the Gem Skylla had would change with Aylanda’s level. Zakarias getting the Lightbringer skill if deployed on chapter 25 was also new to me! Amazing how many small details are in this game. I’m surprised you didn’t mention the extra units you can potentially have access to in chapter 32 though.

@@destianpatrianagara1119 Yes, she will. I wouldn't be too concerned over it though. She actually sacrifices some of her stats to transform Dawncaller into Dawnbreaker. Which makes her one of if not the weakest ancestor that you fight against.

One important thing as well when it comes to getting the Rosethorn early in Ch 14 - if Samuel dies at any point between when he returns in Ch 9 and Ch 11, you cannot get the Rosethorn any more, even if you already have the A-support between him and Theodor/Christina. Learned that the hard way.

On Ch 29 if you have Victoria you actually need her to wait on the armory on the far right side of the map instead of that Vendor with Caroline. I was quite confused why she wasn’t getting the skill and weapon for me but the stream chat when Mangs played the level discussed this difference and saved me :-)

I will say, while I appreciate the replayability added by all the secret and dialog, as someone who like to complete as much of a game as possible on the first play Andaron Saga can be daunting. I was constantly trying to figure out everything that was and wasn’t a secret in all of the gaiden dialogs. I really didn’t know a majority of the secret events until I had them spoiled by the devs so I could figure out how to even get them.

A lot of these secret events are super fun, though there was one that made me a tad upset… I gave Khepri her ring DURING Chapter 25, giving me nothing. It’s no big deal at the end of the day, I didn’t even end up using her, but if the devs decide to make a Andaron Saga final final final final release, it’d be nice if that was accounted for :)

Thank you! I just wrote the same thing in a comment. A little misleading to give a description that Khepri is interested in the ring, but you must not give it to her during battle. I can do fine without that skill, but I felt slightly betrayed after seeing this video. Most other objectives are pretty straightforward and really doable to get though.

I found a mistake! In ch19 if Aylanda's level is below 6 (meaning 1-5), Skylla will recieve no gems, meaning you will obtain the Volsunga tome, you forgot to mention that in your video.

I had a lot of fun with Andaron Saga and beat it. But I'm not a fan of the majority of the chance-based events, especially in ch17, a very difficult one where every turn counts.

Managed to find quite a few of these secrets on my own. Felt pretty exciting! Got 2 Secret Events in my first playthorugh (Alicia and Crixus) and next playthrough I got Void Shield for Victoria. My third playthrough hasn't seen any secret events yet, though.

I some of these secret events had other triggers than "one in fifty chance on turn 6." The chance of many of these events is so low that most players will never encounter even one event. Personally I have yet to encounter one.

Not true, over at least 31 chapters you actually have around like a 50/50 to get at least one assuming an average 2% trigger rate. Some of them are way more likely to trigger than others like Ahmed turning aggressive on ch22 (which is probably intentional considering it's strictly a downside for the player).

About Zahri's recruitment on chapter 23: She doesn't need to just survive to join, she needs to not have been attacked period, found out the hard way when one of Tendies' guards attacked her and she didn't join despite surviving the chapter and not having Angelus.

In chapter 23 the prisoners do not have to enter the tent, they just have to not die. I only had like 8 prisoners escape during my iron man and I still got inspiration on Jakka.

21:51 So fun fact, this is actually incorrect! Her stats will potentially decrease if your rolls were good enough if you promote Jaheira, and if you have weapon ranks above D for swords and Axes, they get reset back to D Foind this out in mt run where i wanted the Jakka x Jaheira support, but also wanted the Wyrmblade, since its a unique weapon. She had C in swords and was almost there in Axes(gave her slim axe and short sword), and she was back to a flat D in both. Id also gotten lucky with her resistance growth, and she lost like, 5 points of resistance when she came back

I had been keeping track of some presumed Lunatic objectives on paper and luckily, I got most of them right. Some secret objectives are a little obscure though, like talking to Caroline twice in different chapters with Jakka. Maybe it has been mentioned in the story somewhere, but I have no recollection of that. Also, the ring for Khepri is a little misleading. The description states that Khepri is interested in it, so I gave it to her and kept it in her inventory, hoping it would trigger something. But in doing so, I missed out on the Ch 25x secret objective. It was a little vague for it to be in Jakka's inventory. I am on Ch 27 now, so it's a bit too late now... I also stopped the video there and will return later to write down the secret Lunatic objectives for my second playthrough. I am playing Blind Iron Man on hard mode (I watch your streams after completing the chapters myself), and Andaron Saga is a blast to play through! If not a little too much at some chapters, where the attention to extras can feel overwhelming (like ch 24). Hard mode is a good blind difficulty for a seasoned FE veteran and I hope lunatic objectives will be a good challenge after obtaining the knowledge from playing before. Screw the turn 1 stealable boots though xD

Theres a dialog oversight in the tyronar chapters if you get the secret event in single combat. Tyronar says its a group battle that sigmar shouldnt interfere in even if its 1 on 1

I took the deal with Asmodeus in the Helheim Chapter and the Demon Spear really came in handy many times throughout my first Playthrough but when doing the Final Chapter and seeing Jakka get it taken away from him and also getting reduced stats and movement it came back to bite with me with the deal I made with Asmodeus, and even worse….. After all the goodbyes Jakka didn’t survive survive to return home to his family, and that hit me pretty hard, yes I got the bad ending and I felt very sad and empty, the game does a good job at making you feel a certain way with the choices you make and that’s what makes Andaron Saga Awesome!

Honestly outside of Lunatic Ironman i really don't think you have a good reason to take the deal since the hardest part for Jakka is already behind him. Sentinel Jakka tends to outperform most units if you can work around his 6 moves. 30 str/spd and 35 skill with good defence and resistance and the highest HP cap with Garam makes him a one man army anyway (and convoy access which means you always have optimal options). Edit: You also have a 60 uses brave/reaver/armorslayer spear that already contend for best weapon on him, only misses a 1-2 range feature on it. And plenty of hammerne staves to fuel it.

Hot take: I kinda adore the credits chapter. I just got and beat it for the first time yesterday, and at first it annoyed me because felt like I HAD to take losses, but then I started thinking about it like an advanced link arena (which I'm very nostalgic for) where losing units is expected and not permanent because character endings are now tied to that chapter. Genuinely fun when you stop worrying about keeping every single unit alive.

I'm more miffed about Chapter 32, myself. Extra *missable* endings in 40+ hour games kind of rub me the wrong way. That's a LOT of hours down the drain if you fail to meet the requirements... that you're not even told about, aside from here.

i soft locked myself on chapter 29 hard mode XD i killed the boss with the harbinger ring using shoms skill and his regalia and then killed the last harbringer and the game did not know what to do cause the boss was dead already lol i think you can also soft lock with shay but i bet it would be way harder XD

Is there a patch that's missing chapter 32? I have Colter alive, but unpromoted, Angelus is alive, emilia is trained and has the morbid curiosity skill, albert is alive but I didn't really use him. Isabelle is a Steel Knight who could solo the game if she wanted. What could be causing me not to be able to unlock it? Do I have to spare Galahad after the duel in chapter 30? That's the only thing I can think of.

Chapter 29 part of Claymore Regalia is bugged for me. Looks like I'm taking watchful Victoria into lunatic endgame haha. I was waiting for the video to drop because I thought I might be missing a step... but nope it just doesn't work! Final final rom coming soon?

Update, at lights return now. Secrets weren't tooooo bad so far. Chapter 29 kicked my ass a bit though lol
