HYPNOGLANCE87 - Netherrealm Studios used to be Midway, so I'm fairly certain they still have the rights to games like the NBA Jam series and War Gods, which was a lesser known Mortal Kombat-esque, gory fighting game they did in the late 90s. Plus Netherrealm is owned by Time Warner, just like DC, Cartoon Network, Warner Brothers Studios etc., so it pretty easy for them to get access to other IPs like the DC Universe and the various horror icons that've guest starred in MK.

To me Ivy and Scarecrow are the weakest combatants in the game.They depend too much on their equipment or special abities,and lacking their combat skills,which they supposed to improve.They can do little without their super tricks,in hand-to-hand combat they are almost helpless against such masters as Batman,Wild Cat,Green Arrow,Black Canary,Nightwing or Red Hood.
