Excellent job of explaining and playing young man. Way cool 😎

Neck-thru Jacksons, Charvels, etc are one piece of wood from bottom strap button to (almost) headstock. The sides of the body are bonded to the center neck-thru piece.

Really nice video. Id stress that neck-thru really helps people like me with small hands; the bolt on neck shapes make high fret work a nightmare.

The only problem I have with Jackson is they don't make enough hardtail guitars and they put floyd rose special bridges in their x series guitars which is bullshit for that price

Im not a big fans of trems. I just get mahogany bodied JS models that are string through, and upgrade/set them up myself. I end up buying them used most of the time for crazy cheap. By the time Im done upgrading, I have a mahogany jackson the tends to be 1/3 or 1/4 the price of a new one with similar specs/hardware. Its a bonus for me personally since I love a good project.

@@karlmyers90can I commission you to do one for me ?
@karlmyers902 ай бұрын
@@Shnergen91 well by the time you paid me to do that and ship it back and forth, you would probably not get great value for the price point. If you decided to tackle the project yourself, or if you lived in the Indianapolis area, I would totally be willing to link up on discord and help walk you through some stuff. But, dealing with all the fees, parts and shipping, you would be better off getting a higher end model used and having it set up at a shop if that isn't something you can do yourself.

great video, subscribed. neck thru the neck is not glued in, the neck is full length of guitar and the body wings are glued to that, set necks are the glued into the body guitars, so glad jackson does not even waste their time with set necks, to me it has to be neck thru or bolt on and i am happy. i cant tell any tonal difference between my bolt ons and neck thrus, i am sure there is but must be subtle. 99% of my guitars are mij jackson/charvel. i love them.

What riff is that from at 17:32 for the JP Series?? Or was that just a freestyle?

I would love to see an in depth section on baritones from Jackson. How does the monarkh sc t6 baritone compare to the new roman ht6 baritone?

I was recently gifted a Jackson guitar. It says Performer on the headstock and it is a HSS type. The neck plate number starts with 96. It has a Floyd Rose on it also. Any idea what model it might be?

not all pro series come with locking tuners, older jacksons the build quality was the same high standard across the entire line, mij and usa.

Facts. I have a '97 SL3, an '00 DKMG, and my crown jewel- an Ebony '87 Charvel Model 5. All MiJ. All still play like butter. I'll take the Pepsi challenge with any post-Fender USA Jackson.

Which of those are offered in the LH version apart from Dinky? And are they all sound so terribly or is it just your setup?

why so many superstrats. Flying V or X or nothing.
