The blue lantern ring has another, very useful power you didn't mention. It can recharge and supercharge to 200% the rings of the "good" side of the spectrum, aka green, indigo and violet. It can also lower the charge(back to zero) of red, orange and yellow. It can also destroy red or yellow rings. The orange ring, because there is only one, cannot be destroyed or brought down to zero charge, but it can still be considerably weakened.

There are no “good” or “bad” emotions. As humans, it’s healthy to feel all of these to truly know about life. Not to mention everyone has different motives (which CAN be seen as good or bad). A nice extra effect of the orange ring that Larfleez has is that if his corps is getting overwhelmed or if he just wants to go beast mode he can reintegrate his constructs back into himself for a massive power up from everything and everyone that each individual construct has absorbed and add it to his own power. The Blue Lanterns have quickly become my favourite of the corps, in spite of how novel they are in the overarching mythos. I hope there will be more content for them! The synergy of Will and Hope is a very nice detail - no man is an island. There will always be heroes who stounchly work alone, but I just find team compositions that play off each others' strengths and cover for one anothers' weaknesses that much more compelling.

@@demongodking6681 the Gold Lantern Corps represents pure joy/happiness, and only beings who have experienced nothing but happiness their whole lives can get a ring. The founder of the Gold Corps eventually went absolutely insane from feeling nothing but pure happiness for thousands of years. That's all there is thats known about them. The Dawnbreakers ring is just a Green Corpse ring that that version of Bruce used his will to override the the inner restriction against killing. The Omega Lantern seems to be made by the entity of Anti-Life or by Darkeid, I've only read a little bit that has to do with the Omega Lanterns because I'm behind on buying comics.

I don't think Sinestro was "warped" by his ring. I believe the comics showed that even as a green lantern, he secretly took over his home planet, and the thing that really sent him off the deep end was the child suicide bomber that killed his queen. After that, he decided to use the power of fear for "good" Though he was already a dictator, so his idea of stopping crime is by horrifically killing them. Though I would like to say that he was going to do that no matter what ring he had. The only difference is that the green lanterns have a way to shut the rings off when someone like that gets one. Sinestro's daughter later tries to reform the yellow lanterns into a police force just like the green lanterns. Actually, Batman would be the perfect yellow lantern for that version. He embodies it perfectly.

@@TheEnigmaticBM39 honestly after the Snyder Cut and Peacemaker I feel like higher budget streaming series is the way to go for DC in general. People continuously compare the DC movies to Marvel and the two are polar opposites of eachother thematically so a difference in medium would help them stand out against the competition, plus the expectations for a HBO series are a lot different than a theatrical release. DC stories are quite often of a darker and more mature subject matter and that's what people have come to expect from HBO so I think it would be a perfect solution to keep producing DC content without the need to change or lighten up the subject matter.

I wonder if in the future they will create another unique ring from the emotional spectrum. The emotion is called 'despair'. Unlike the other power batteries that recharges the power rings that give the lanterns their powers, the despair rings work the opposite. The despair rings leeches despair from their wearers and feeds it directly into the power batteries that feeds the collected despair into the entity. And the wearers of the despair rings are not willing to remove their rings as the rings are what that take away their emotional pain and misery. In other words, the wearers are chosen because they have lost all hope and only have despair. The rings take away the emotional pain and misery associated with despair making the wearers dependent on the rings.

There’s some other rings that you may have missed like the golden laterns, their spectrum are made of constant pure joy, The Silver laterns which existed before the universe became a thing in a different universe which was a precursor of ours and was for patience, and they are very tactical and nearly gone, and the last of divisible spectrum of the Lantern core is Gray which is pretty much just pure depression. There’s some others that I’m probably missing but yeah this is most Of the remaining normal spectrums and latern Cores

Post Death Metal it have been revealed that Nekron is part of the Great Darkness. he Indigo is a bit weird 1 as it partly lack of compassion, but than they force the compasion on the person that is forcefully joined. The Star Saphire were is 1 that DID enforce ppl 2 join their ranks. In early stories Carol Ferris was always brainwashed by the ring. Plus it is usually a woman only group as well, had only 1 exception (at least in a meaningful way in a big event). Earth 11 version should be male only, but current writers don't seem 2 know how that universe works. Volthoom had his own ring as well, what is a diff ring that what Power Ring from Earth 3 uses. Missing Ultra-Violet and Golden lanterns.

Since the rings pick their wearers, that would not likely happen... probably never happen. If it did, it would be because the rings were "hacked". They would be like a White Lantern Ring with access to Black Lantern abilities... so godlike abilities, reality-bending only limited to one's imagination and ring power level. Oh, and Green (Willpower), is not an actual emotion... it's one's ability to push their will THROUGH their emotions. Fear opposing that is on both sides of how it attacks willpower, inducing fear and being afraid... manipulating via fear while also being an emotion. Put it under a microscope, all the rings are a foil to Green... with White also being Green. And Willpower also being a thing that (in fiction) also is on every side of death (overcoming death, causing death, undeath status, etc) would also be a Green function. Well the White Lantern ring in order for its user to utilize it. They must learn to master all of the emotional spectrums minus the Black Lantern" So that's basically having the power of all said rings. Because the White Ring can do the things that the green,red,yellow etc can do.

@@That80sGuy1972 It happened to Kyle once, there was a story line where the major lantern corps leaders had their rings taken and it turned out they had all gone to Kyle who somehow managed to feel each emotion at once, it was foreshadowing to him becoming the white lantern later on, but the rings were returned and he only had them briefly

The only one's missing from this video are the ultra violent lantern corps and the gold lantern corps. But Senes those 2 corps are more recent in the comics there is not a lot of information 🤔 on those two corps, hopefully when more is revealed about those two lantern corps they can update the video.
