After Ishi died, an autopsy was preformed, his brain removed, and his body cremated in 1917. In 2000, his remains were repatriated to the Yana, whom the Yahi were the most southern branch. The Yana are still alive today at Redding Rancheria.

The whole video is like 90% misinformation, which bothers me a lot especially because I know how much of this channel's audience are curious, young people passionate to learn about the world. And they are being fed shit disguised as fast, concise knowledge. The Asmat for example are not an "isolated tribe" by any means. For one, they are a people with tens of thousands of members and not a single tribe. And they are just... not isolated. They trade both with other tribals and with civilized people. You can visit them. Also, they are Christians and haven't been engaging in cannibalism for decades.

Also, it's crazy to see how the world still tries to make contact with isolated tribes like the North Sentinelese, despite them clearly wanting to be left alone. @fueyo22295 күн бұрын
No lol that is not true, first off because in English then it would be cuff, the pf in kopf is pronounced similarly to f. I think a lot of these videos would be much better if sources were listed. Of course, then much of the content would have to be cut since a surprising amount of it is typically false or ill-founded. You state in the description that the "information" provided shouldn't be taken at face-value but I doubt most people see this. As a result, I tend to consider this channel quite harmful, as it serves as a substitute for actual research and gives a false sense of understanding to those that don't know better. I think this channel has a lot of potential and fills the niche of short, casual, and educational content. However, I urge you to crucially include citations to back up your assertions so that interested viewers can read more, your writer is more critical, and everyone else can be sure that the information is well-researched and backed by literature .
@malte2916 күн бұрын
Sadly not gonna happen. Because if the creator actually provided any references that would encourage viewers to "spark your curiosity and let you do your own research" as the description claims, they would see how much of his content is just made up. This guy knows exactly what he's doing.

These are groups that either had contacts with bad people and now do not want to have anything to do with them, or are protected by some other philantropic groups. Possibly both.
