The Bowie seems like a great option for a UCS style set at some point in the future. This one looks fine, but it really doesn’t do the ship justice, and it’d be great to be able to put the full team in the cockpit, and give the ship that proper imposing scale it has in the film

High Evolutionairy should have 100% been in the Rocket set. Would have made perfect sense for the scene it is from. Also Kraglin should have replaced Starlord in the €10 set.

A few things bug me: 1. Groot's head is too tall. In the movie, his head is more square-shaped. I know they're reusing the teen Groot head for convenience, but still... 2. A lot of missing characters from the movie, but we got a repeat Starlord. I mean, what about Gamora, the High Evolutionary, Kraglin and Cosmo? 3. I think the Bowie should have been done in the same style as the Benitar. Or in the very least, had the ability to move the rings and put it in landing position.

I think they left out the High Evolutionary cuz his design may be a little too graphic for LEGO's taste. For Gamora and Cosmo they probably just didn't want to make new molds.

My thoughts: The GotG HQ is a neat model! Well worth the cost, and a nice desk model. No real complaints aside from minifigure selection, but that's a minor gripe if anything. Baby Rocket's Ship is an okay model at worst, and I think its worst offense is its price. The model is fine, but just a little boring, although I do appreciate the articulation that it features. The Bowie is a beautiful Lego spaceship, but it's kinda a letdown compared to the Benitar, with that ship featuring a really nice interior, and the Bowie perhaps not being as accurate with its' colors.

Something that isn't touched on is the actual building process for The Bowie. I was surprised with the amount of complex techniques it had while I was building it.

Honestly even the smallest set is a decent display. Lay a rocket fig on the table with Quill and Groot standing by and it kinda looks like the ship interior for that...one scene😢

I really like the design of Rocket's ship, and it kinda looks like a construction/cargo vehicle. (Like the area between the front thrusters looks like they could pick up things with an anti grav or magnetic system). It's also designed in such a way that it wouldn't look too out of place in the background of a Star Wars MOC. Like, I could see that parked at Mos Eisley Spaceport.

I just got back from seeing it and it was awesome but the Lego versions of the two ships rockets and new guardians are very sad and disappointing they both look so cool in the movie

they should 1000% make a ucs sized set for the bowie, this size is not proportional to the actual size of stuff in the movie (the captain area should have like 5+ seats and screens).

Loved the movie. The Rocket escape ship build is very very bad--won't buy this even at 50% off.. Bowie needed a little more love, would have liked to seen better split out ships, probably will get it though since I am such a fan of GotG. The small set is fine. Want to see Kraglin, Cosmo, and High Evolutionary figs somewhere. Mebbe a Knowhere set will show up eventually. I really want the Starlord helmet but waiting for at least 20% discount or worthwhile promo deal.

I actually like the Bowie and I’m thinking of investment when it comes to Adam warlock he’s going to be exclusive in a set that isn’t very popular so I think he will be worth a good amount of money in the future

I don't care for the Gaurdians' ship, and it just might translate into LEGO more poorly than any fictional spacecraft ever put to screen. If I saw it for £50 I prbly would pick it up. Otherwise, I'll stick with the other sets.
