Level creator here! Just want to say a really big THANK YOU to Dave for the excellent playing, Chris for masterful editing, and also the community. Live chat was fully invested and really funny, keeping Dave's spirits high. KZbin commentors have been courteous and insightful, and since these videos have gone live my Mario Maker notifications have been blowing up. Thank you to everybody who played these levels. ❤

Truly amazing work! 5-2 is really a good choice as it has a lot of structure with a sub world and a coin heaven to play with. Also all the power ups SMB 1 had. Masterful work with it and really good ideas!

Love how in the bumper car traffic level, Dave's strategy escalated from avoidance to car-jacking to straight up mass murder.

"5-2 During Rush Hour" is simply the Mario version of GTA. A bunch of crashes and personal injuries, then other people getting beat up before their vehicle gets stolen. LOL

Once again 5-2 BUT level creator Alan did not disappoint. This was a fantastic ending of the series and I enjoyed every minute. Please Dave keep doing these videos. I wrote down the level creator code and will give these a go myself😊

Some of these "but" worlds have gotten kind of lame and boring but 5-2 was any but (see what I did there). Great super world. I hope people keep making these levels!

I really liked the rush hour theme for that level, even if the stage ends up frustrating. That could be a cool idea for more super world themes.

In the uncut livestream he did try going down in the dry bowl, but it wasn't working because it's real hard to get out of that form before the donut blocks fall down the pit. He did also try going through the subworld, which I recommend, but that didn't make the cut either.

I got Mario maker 2 today (my birthday, feb 13th) but I didn’t know that you have to buy the stupid Nintendo switch online memebership to play course world levels, but I am in Ukraine but Ukrainian cards aren’t supported so I can’t ask my mom or dad to buy it. Now I’m just sad instead of happy.

17:45 What did you buy Dave? One PC with 4 GB, Nestopia Emulator, and USB game controller is all that is needed to own all NES games. Plus you can get all games for every other system, and still have lots of other stuff you can do. Of course it's your money to waste on inferior products.

In the instruction booklets it is Tail, but in all related material he's a raccoon. Raccoons and Tanuki are completely different creatures. Granted the US instruction book mistranslated it to Tanuki Tail at one point, but it is a Raccoon.@@phosphorus4
