G-Savior is considered cursed by most of the Gundam community. It is a Canadian attempt at making a Live action Gundam movie. It is a an okay movie when looked at from the point of view of it being a cheesy Hollywood movie, but for Gundam fans there is a lot of dissatisfaction of how the mobile suits were used among other factors. @@KnightManCross If the movie was made in the 90s, it was most likely cheesy and unwatchable by today's standards. The CGI animation is reminiscent of the 1995 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie.

From 18:50 to 22:55, are all from one series that lasted about 52 episodes. It was about how over three generations the Gundam had evolved and how the war around it had changed, or not changed at all. The Age Gundams each had installed in them something called the Age System. The Age System would take the combat data and convert it into new weapons or parts for the Gundam it was installed. The parts and weapons would be made on the mother ship that held the machine that would take the data and make the weapons and parts. The three generations are the grandfather, Flint Asuno, when he was a kid, the son, Asemu Asuno, when he had just graduated and entered the military and the Grandson, Kio Asuno. Each Generation of Gundam is based on the Universal Century Gundams. Age 1 is based on the original Gundam RX-78, Age 2 is based on Zeta Gundam, and Age 3 is based on ZZ Gundam. Age FX is not based on any Gundam other then the ZZ Gundam, with a lot of modifications to make it fit into the Age universe and make it stronger then the Age 3. EDIT: In my opinion it is an okay Gundam series. It would be better if it weren't for the one massive flaw it has: the pacing of the story. They attempted to shove what would normally be 3 separate shows into a single one with only 52 episodes. Age Gundam was made for going alongside a video game from my understanding which is why in some parts it is an odd series for a Gundam series.

Age FX is somewhat based on another Universal Century Gundam actually, the Nu Gundam from Char's Counterattack movie that came after ZZ Gundam, if you look at the funnels.

@@extraleague01 I guess you could look at it as a combination of the ZZ Gundam for the body, Gundam Quantum for the functionality of the funnels, and the Nu Gundam for the funnels looks maybe?

Stargazer is a side story about a Gundam made for long range space exploration. That halo on its back is a solar sail, a propulsion device that exists in real life that accelerates using light instead of standard thrusters and it's ALOT faster than other propulsion methods also to be fair Unicorn is super effective against Newtypes. Really hard to fight a gundam when it suddenly takes over your weapons lol

@@APrinnyDood The VL system is very debateable in speed. The destiny and sf basically took everything out of what makes a solar sail, a solar sail, and just went cool wings and internal laser.

@@WadeWadeReacts its definitely up there, though I think a decent number of gundams have defensive equipment and range that could beat it if the supernatural phenomena newtype units like it cause at times doesnt trigger

@@VoidTemplar i forgot thats even what destiny's wings are supposed to be lol. Stargazer's at least seemed to portray it with decent accuracy with how at the end it flew such an outrageous distance the pilot wasnt sure if it flew too far for rescue to even reach it before the air supply ran out

17:43 the NT-D System (Newtype Destroyer System) Takes over when the Unicorn Gundam Detected a Newtype . a Newtype is are space Born humans with psychic abilities. Newtype are hard to explain so I'll leave it at that but someone will explain it better than i did

@@kennethmana3103 Are Newtypes geneticly modified similar to the Coordinators from seed or the Orphans from IBO? Is having enhanced humans only a thing in the later Gundam series, or has that been in the franchise from the beginning?

@@WadeWadeReacts In Universal Century timeline the Newtypes are all natural but Cyber Newtypes are the artificially made Newtypes In Cosmic Era the Coordinators are Genetically modified Humans who are better at everything. that's why a group of Naturals called Blue cosmos wants to genocide them. and same for Coordinators too the one in IBO is something like a Man-Machine interface for the MS done through a crude surgery with low survival rate because the tech to do it with out fail was lost and made illegal. if the surgery failed the pilot to be is paralyzed because the surgery is that they put a device on the spine. the MC of IBO has the surgery done to him 3 at the same time.

@WadeWadeReacts uhh Newtypes are evolved humans. Better reflexes, 6th sense type of thing. Cyber newtypes are well surgically altered to have 6th senses. Coordinators are genetically altered at birth. Human Debris (IBO orphans) forced implant surgery to spine. Innovades, AIs in flesh suits. With quantum brainwaves and benefits. Innovator, evolved humans that can use quantum brainwaves among other benefits. X rounder ...... basically a newtype. Etc. Yes newtypes were basically a thing from the beginning.

@@WadeWadeReacts Newtypes are naturally occurring, but tech exists to create imitations (Cyber Newtypes) or to strengthen the power of a weak Newtype (only theoretical). They're essentially humans who have evolved telepathy to communicate over the vast distances of outer space. Also, yes, the NT-D of the Unicorn was originally built to be a Newtype Genociding machine, as suggested by the name. The irony is that it requires a Newtype Pilot to function at all.

Newtypes are not an easy thing to explain. Newtypes in the UC lore, are humans that have adapted to space. There are some common features that all UC (the original Gundam universe) have. Most, if not all, Newtypes have some level of telepathy, from just knowing another newtype is near by, to being able to read peoples intentions. Another common trait is that they have much higher special awareness then other people. So they know if some is behind them when fighting in a mobile suit. The telepathy ability can be harnessed to use remote weapons. At first the weapons had to remain attached to the mobile suit/Mobile armor through a wire, but eventually evolved to the point where the weapons did not need to be directly connected to the mobile suit like the Kshatriya vs Jegan fight, where you saw the Kshatriya use its funnels to shoot down the grunt Jegan. The other way Newtypes abilities are used in battle is to control a large mobile armor, that would normally require 3 or more pilots, with a single pilot. An example of this would be fight that you already seen, the fight between the Unicorn Gundam and the Shamblo.

6:31 kira is reprogramming the OS on the Strike Gundam because the original OS of the Original 5 Gundams of the CE timeline was so shit even the ones who made the made it can't operate it with out the Gundam falling over.

@WadeWadeReacts in Seed Destiny they're bitter Enemies, Shin blaming kira why his family and his first love for their deaths but by the time of Seed Freedom they're like Mentor and Student, Shin Mellowed out and became a competent pilot he even 1 Vs 4 with assist the four Black Knights (Wannabe power rangers of the CE timeline) who can read minds in the Seed Freedom Movie.

You might want to check out Destiny Gundam Spec II vs Black Knights. It's from the new Gundam Seed Freedom movie. It's a fight against four state of the art mobile suits, with pilots that can read your mind; and Destiny still beats their asses.

Turn A gundam. basically the most powerful gundam that survived multiple universes......yea i get it. it's lore that no one really likes to think about and doesn't really consider it "true". Camera positions on a mobile suit. Main sensors are in the head. Depending on the suit, there are cameras on the arms, legs, and chest areas for backups. Not entirely protected. Bulletproof glass i can guess? yea the freedom series is a popular pick for favourite mobile suit. I prefer the sister unit, the justice. The stargazer show takes place during seed destiny. (so yes the casts during seed and seed destiny is out there) Stargazer Gundam is using something called the voiture lumière system. It is a solar sales (Collects solar energies to move, or a laser). (and a side note the only time this system was used correctly. cough destiny, sf.) How good is Setsuna F Seiei as a pilot (pilots the exia, 00, and qant) uhhhh S1 is low to mid tier ace with a overwhelming tech advantage. S2 and movie is Top tier Ace level. (can be shown when he uses the flags vs the gnx) GN particles. kinda in my last post. decayed baryons, subatomic exotic particles. basically smth akin and as small as a photon/neutron/electron. Very sensitive to data collection and changing easy to change quantum states. (gonna have to read up on quantum mechanics irl to kinda get the basics). also serves as any other particle when it comes to weaponry, etc. like minovsky or ahab. Newtype Destroy system. senses if the opponent is a newtype, which then lets the pilots semi control the suit mentally. they system will basically do its best to make you kill the newtype opponent, unless your will overrides it. Oh yea the fandom likes doing versus suits against another. The best you can get for multiuniverse suits battling each other is in the build series anime. the toy commercial one.

you asked what kind of particles came out at time: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hqKooHShn95neMU. Those are called GN (Gundam Nucleus) particles, coming from a GN drive, a perpetual engine. A perpetual engine is an engine that once started never needs to be refueled, producing infinite energy as long as the GN drive functions and is maintained. The only limiter would be the output of the GN drive, but one can store the particles that are produced for future use in battle when the Mobile suit is resting. GN particles are the Minovsky Particles of this universe, but with even more importance given to GN particles. When harnessed properly GN particles can make materials more durable, sharper, flexible, etc. and can be used as the ammo for the beam weapons of this universe. GN particles can be manipulated to form a shield made only of GN particles around the mobile suit, though this requires a ridiculous amount of them to do so. That is why the Gundam you saw in the last video about Gundam 00 was so bulky, all the bulkiness are GN particle containers, that also act as armor and hold the weapons of the Gundam.

2:44 Turn A Gundam and 20:57 "Gundam: Reconquist in G" are both non-U.C. Gundam shows written and directed by the original Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino. He once had a nickname of Kill-em-All Tomino because he had so many characters killed badly in his earlier works, not just Gundam shows, but also his other shows, the infamous Ideon. Anyways, the killing of characters in Gundam series was one of the worst in Victory Gundam, Tomino's last U.C. Gundam work, which was supposedly made during the peak of his depression. But Turn A Gundam was apparently the show where his mind started to heal. He even later said Turn A Gundam cured him. Both Turn A Gundam and Reconguista in G have some tragic deaths, but they're not as dark as his older shows.

I honestly feel like they should have done something special with the large beam-edged "Anti-Ship Swords" that the SEED Gundams had. Like, have the containment field actually allow them to clash with ordinary hilt-only beam sabers, maybe even overpower and extinguish them. But, nope, just a sword that requires a battery. At least give them the ability to project an ordinary beam saber out the tip like in Crossbone!
