Before I moved to the Philippines, my one bedroom apartment ( 690 sq ft) in Illinois was one of the cheapest rents at $1489 usd a month, no utilities included. I think the Philippines is in a real estate bubble currently, the land, rent, home and condo prices have gotten out of hand lately. I am not a surfer, but I understand that they don't want it to become overrun by tourists. I don't think that feel they own it, but want to keep it quaint, quiet and it does not lose its charm. Look at Baguio has changed and overun with tourists on the weekends.

Your sound is low quality, try using the clip microphone that many youtubers are using. they clip it to their clothes.

Mark if you Want to Take your wife and son to the United States all you have to do is go to the US embassy in manila and petition them to go to the states as simple as that. You don't have to stay there permanently

From Orlando, but we live in Nashville now, and I have to agree with Tim about the homeless problem in Nashville, especially in the downtown tourist area.

It's good that you interviewed Tim I watch his channel and Tim and Christine have built a beautiful house by the beach. It was sad when Tim's Tuk, Tuk was stolen.

Im married to American living here in Philippines for good 7 years and counting i got a tourist visa ( i even have immigration record 13 years ago) denied entry. As long as you have proof that you are coming back to Philippines im pretty sure she can get a visa

I thought Americans can not have duel citizenship. If you become an American citizen you have to give up your previous citizenship. That is why Filipinos that get American citizenship when they return to the Philippines they have to reapply for their citizenship.

Americans can hold a dual citizenship. My wife had to denounce her Philippines citizenship to become a U.S. citizen, so after, we went to the Philippines consulate and she obtained her Philippines citizenship again.

US citizens can hold dual, or multiple nationalities, by US law.

@@RedneckandPinay Interesting. So when she moved back to the Philippines she had to apply for her citizenship all over again, and then how does that affect her USA citizenship?
@RedneckandPinay
@RedneckandPinay 8 күн бұрын
@@kevink1214 no, even before we moved to the PI. She went to the Philippines consulate in Houston, applied and went through the ceremony, and got her citizenship back. Does affect her U.S. citizenship. Japan is one of a few countries that does not allow dual citizenship (from what I understand).
