Each individual who attains this power is given two specific jutsu for each eye that has the mangekyou sharingan. However, with so many characters awaking the mangekyou sharingan it can be pretty easy to lose track of which character has each power. The Byakugan is cool and all, but I kinda feel like these type of supernatural abilities better suit the Sharingan than the Byakugan🤔 For one the Sharingan is able to perfectly mimic something or even further, anticipate it before it happens, as well as cast Genjutsu & stuff. It just seems more Mystical/Mythical in my opinion. 😐which is why I think that seeing as the Byakugan has been more focused on Physical attributes, such as having 360 vision & perfect x-ray eye sight, Raw environmental abilities would seem more appropriate... Maybe having users of train to Create their own abilities with it, instead of having them manifest random ones, is something that kinda seems more around a Hyuga's way of work/expertise. 🤔I'd vote for having them achieve possible air constrictive abilities where the more they engage in their eyes the more the pressure around their surroundings becomes tense/hard to move in; as well as probably training so hard that they achieved the ability to abuse the traits of the Byakugan without the need to activate it at all.😊However, this is just what I think.

But like I said, it could be explained & there for remain as its Canon possibility, I just hope that any ability they may later apply at the very least makes sense, and doesn't ridicule the story as to why these abilities never popped up in the first place.

From what I remember and some quick Google search, the technique allows the user to enter the mind of any individual within their field of view, and manipulate them by giving them false experiences, making it seem as if they were doing things of their own free will. It is regarded as a genjutsu of the highest calibre, due to the victim being entirely unaware that they are being manipulated. There is no shown proof or anything saying that Kotoamatsukami can be broken free of from everything I have seen and researched. Hell it even says that it is so powerful that disrupting the chakra flow couldnt stop the genjutsu. The most likely to break free would be a controller of the Rinnegan, and even that isnt known.

Good question. I’ve never seen a MS evolve like a regular sharingan. Maybe if they do get a power boost, it’s simply through training their ability & there’s no physical change to the MS design. Itachi got his MS at 12 & the shape never changed, although I’m sure it got stronger as he got older.

Hey guys i just thought of something regarding the mangekyou abilities,what if some of them are derivatives of rinnegan and Rinne sharingan abilities for example : Kamui may be derived from kaguya's teleportation ability Shin's ability may be derived from the asura path of the rinnegan Tsyuknomi and Kotoamatsukami may be derived from the infinite tsyuknomi Amaterasu and flame control I'm not too sure, they may be original sharingan abilities, if you want to stretch it you could say it's a derivative of the truth seeking orbs

I mean, it was planned to be used on the leaders of the Uchiha clan, one of them being Fugaku Uchiha who had MS, to prevent the Uchiha clan for trying to overthrow the village before Shisui died and the whole Uchiha massacre. There are only three know versions of rinnegan. Basic rinnegan, Rinnesharingan and choku tomoe rinnegan.

@@kuro5759 I hate to break it up to you bro but tomoe rinnegan is a thing. I mistakenly added the word choku but tomoe rinnnegan is really a thing. Sasuke's rinnegan hasn't been fully explained but it is a superior rinnegan. Sasuke's rinnegan is called tomoe rinnegan as it possesses 6 tomoes that sets it aside from normal rinnegan. Sasuke's rinnegan also has more abilities than normal rinnegans. Normal rinnegans can only use the six paths and rinne rebirth. On the other hand, Sasuke has an additional ability called amenotejikara which he uses to swap places, not only that but Sasuke has another rinnegan ability that can summon portals that leads to another destination and even dimensions as shown in Boruto manga, anime series and movie. Madara only had one additional rinnegan ability which is Limbo but Sasuke had two additional abilities. Not to mention that Sasuke still can use his EMS abilties using his rinnegan which is the unique trait of Sasuke's rinnegan. I'm not talking about Susano'o cos it was disclosed that you still can use Susano'o despite having no eyes but it requires you to have unlocked MS before losing your eyes. I'm talking about Sasuke still being able to use Amaterasu while Madara and Obito wasn't able to with their rinnegan eye. So yeah, tomoe rinnegan is a thing.

If so, how do Izanagi and Tsukuyomi relate Itachi's awakening? How about Kamui's relation to Obito's awakening? How about Sasuke's amaterasu (doesn't Itachi also have amaterasu though, what is sasuke's unique mangekyou power?)

I can't answer your previous questions about relation about their awakenings since it was only his theory but Sasuke's unique MS ability is flame control. It's what he use to control the form and magnitude of his Amaterasu. He can also extinguish the black flames which Itachi can't do.

Funny how kishi left that info out of the series. Making the rest of us have to sit and theorize. We no what the abilities are but why do they manifest uniquely different abilities per user? I'm 2 years late but I can explain it. An MS ability differs from one person to another as it manifests accordingly to a person's personality, it's basically how a Susano'o manifests as explained before Itachi died. Sharingan evovles to a Mangekyou upon experiencing great loss and it's process was also explained by Tobirama Senju in which he stated that an Uchiha can produce a different kind of chakra as they have the ability to change and enhance their eyes. Non-uchiha shinobis can't focus chakra on their eyes but an Uchiha is able to do so, chakra usually flows from the middle compartment of a shinobis body and flows like a blood does. Non-Uchiha shinobis can only make their chakra flow to their limbs but an Uchiha can make it flow to their eyes through their brain which excretes a different kind of chakra upon making contact with normal chakra and reflects upon their eyes. For me, Kotoamatsukami is not THE most broken Mangekyo ability. Sure it's a powerful ability that lets you control others, but it is only the person you are controlling with Kotoamtsuki who won't know that he's being controlled. Other people with Byakugan or a good sensor can detect that a person is being controlled by Kotoamatsukami, as evidenced by what happened to Danzo when he tried to control Mifune during the Kage summit. Hence, Kotoamatsukami can be easily disrupted when detected by a 3rd person, again, as what happened to Danzo during the Kage summit. Tsukuyomi on the other hand, when it comes to the destructive power and it's speed in casting it, is by far the most deadly Mangekyo genjutsu ever. Once you make eye contact, it's practically GG, game over. It's over before you even realize it. 1 picosecond brother is all it would take to kill you, 1 PICOSECOND. Damn.

@@NarutoExplained The Tsukuyomi because of the idea of controlling the time and space around you for example making 72 hours seem like days. The amaterasu is another favorite of mine due to it being first shown when Itachi used it to help him and Kisame escape Jiraya's toad mouth bind, was one of my favorite moments when I saw that on Toonami back in the day amaterasu became a jutsu that always caught my interest. We cannot forget when Itachi used Tsukuyomi on Sasuke that jutsu not only traumatized Sasuke but put the legendary Kakashi in a coma that only Lady Tsunade could heal. The eternal mangekyou can only be formed if you implement the eyes of a close family member meaning that in the canon world having an eternal mangekyou with one eye kamui and 2nd eye kotoamatsukami is impossible. It's among my favorite Doujutsu! Extremely overpowered techniques that automatically put you in the high tier. It's very high risk, high reward which made it enjoyable. Also, I believe the drawbacks are great too but it gets ridiculous once the EMS became a thing. Pretty much MS on steroids with absolutely no consequences. 😒

Who needs to have o.p jutsu that require enouph chakra to sink a continent when he can spot a wekness and break it. I.e. kaguya used byackugan to bypass susano. Ao used it to see shisuis ability and break obitos control over yagura. Byackugan is stronger than people give it credit for. I.e. sharingan uses the eye of insight to copy jutsu. Its not that the eye copys its a aplication of the eye of insight. Thats stated by zabuza. Now as stated by kakashi byackugan has better insight abilities than sharingan. Hmmm? I can see where that jump in logic goes. Funny how everyone ignores how the basic sharingan even works. And it was fully threshed out before byackugan was ever shown. Simply for the reason of the wow factor of mangekyou later on. Personally thats why i prefer other clans. With each arc to come out if the uchiha needed more power ask the bloody eyeball with more mother fucking forms than goku (thankyou nux for that qoute) This cheapened every ounce of training and achievments uchiha had. Yes the internal spiritual struggle with there power was cool. But remember when sasuke was shown using sharingan on haku. That was considered an amazing feat. Then after itachis death sasuke realized that he awoke sharingan then and there during the masacre becuase he was distraught. This being done to fit the narative direction. Personaly sasuke getting it on bridge was better

It's certainly not Amaterasu. Also, amaterasu should be useless against a Jinchuriki who can use at least the Version 1 or any other dense chakra cloak that can be discarded even if they aren't as fast as the Raikage. It's obviously not as hot as the sun, databook hyperbole. Amaterasu is not even close to being as hot as the sun as it was seen in the manga. Kotoamatsukami is OP and there is no weakness known but that would mean Itachi talked bullshit. Maybe the chakra buildup in the eye can be detected by a skilled sensor before the genjutsu is casted upon the target. Don't see why it isn't possible. After all, chakra is being used to produce the illusion. Or Shisui's eye really needed a long ass time to recharge each time. But oh well, _we will never know._ It would be Kamui for me. You can teleport to any location in a instant, you have your own dimension, nobody should be able to touch you if the opponent doesn't have FTG or the Kamui.

Technically u dont even need dense chakra. I always had a theory that clans good in manipulation of chakra like the hyuga could probably block it. Afterall in part one jiraya used a little chakra and sealed the flames in a scroll. And the flames were snuffed by that chakra. Enouph said there. And koto is o.p. so o.p it breaks the basic fundamental rule all sharingan are supposed to adhere to that being the nedd to lock eyes with your target. When i first seen koto my reaction was jeez come on instead of oh how cool becuase of that basic fact. That aside koto is just a ramped up version of what kakashi did to zabuza. Kakashi had control of him and he didnt even realize.

He only needed to to refer back to the Version 1 cloak and it wouldn't have been a problem. I don't really get how he could even burn him so fast in his version 2 state if Amaterasu can't even burn a arm instantly or melt steel as I think that a Version 2 Cloak is more durable than some steel or flesh. But it's filler so I shouldn't even think about that.
