If you're looking for some good fantasy then id def recommend the lazy lord masters the sword Its more like a typical medieval setting but i found it very funny and got really interested in the story Also theres descended from divinity which combines the civilization trope with fantasy and a little bit of cultivation

I recommend anyone to read Parallel city, easily one of the most underrated manhwa and personally my favorite. It's hard to reveal the plot without spoiling it but is a great thriller with action

I feel like Eleceed is more cultivation based than anything else. It doesn’t have the brake through stages to show power levels, but the world rankings pretty much do the same thing. Kayden (cat) isn’t a god, but he is a powerful awakener on par with the 10 ten. He takes Jiwoo as a disciple and teaches him his force control (circulation technique). The only difference is that this is modern cultivation with different titles.

Nan Hao Shang Feng is absolutely goated, you don't even need to have a translation since how little dialogue there is, it might even give stuff like grand blue a run for it's money Also, Chinese stuff is sooooo filled with cultivation, it might even be worse than Japan having too much isekai, it feels good when something doesn't have it, like three body and the first order (both of which are absolutely amazing and much better with how they are structured especially in story and characters and just the overall production of it all, episodes don't feel weirdly cut out or the story progress very weirdly, which I have found very common especially in the 3d stuff) I know I am just talking about Chinese stuff in a video about manhwa, but I don't watch/read Korean stuff so not really too well versed into, all I have watched is train to Busan and squid game

Now I finally understand why I like manga more, if not some of the webtoon/manhwa/manhua are literally just boring, sometimes some of the one I’m currently reading I didn’t get too hook on to it like manga did, my friend recommended me return to the blossom and blade, and it took quite a while to get good, I gave up around 50ch and my friend is mad at me not reading it until the park rises, but when I read manga, it took me 3-5 chapter to get hooked all the way to 200+ until the end, I hope the Korean author learn to hook the reader in short chapters rather than building it up making the beginning slow and boring.(my opinion)

I’m gonna be brutally honest and this is my opinion but, i frickin hate cultivation manwha’s because theres so many of them that are low effort, i remember seeing part of some manwha’s where the background would be blury/ugly as hell or the characters would be flying (just their feet/placement not correct at all), but most of all the translation of theses manwha’s are pretty bad too i just can’t enjoy any of them 🤷‍♂️

@@pokeleomon most are just Mary sues with the exact same plot and little character development, and i dislike the plot in general(im especially not a fan of the dating sim ones with the dukes and stuff). if i had to compare my problem with it with something else, i guess its similiar to system/dungeon manhwa: that being its a challenge to find any good ones. I also find some of the tropes and character "personalities" cringe. i tried to get into it, but its just wasnt working out. so i just decided to avoid them altogether.
