Honestly, I don't mind Barrel Blast. Sure the controls are weird, but I love the fact that you not only race as the Kongs, but the Kremlings too! Plus there's a few challenges that you can play and while they can be difficult to understand, I still find this game enjoyable.

I actually like Yoshi's Crafted World but it is indeed not as good as Yoshi's Woolly World. I don't think they should make normal yoshi games anymore, the creativity of the Crafted games has many more possibilities. How about a Claymation game. woolly world already copied kirby's epic yarn so they can also do that with kirby and the rainbow curse's art style and it will be adorable. Side note: I also hope that the next Yoshi game brings something new to the table because after Kirby and the Forgotten Land and Return to Dreamland Deluxe, it is very difficult for Yoshi to make games without being overshadowed by Kirby and Nintendo, another cute platformer. Side note side note: I don't want Kirby to fail either, I think Kirby games are better than Yoshi games but I don't want them to overshadow each other

Personally I felt New Super Luigi U was the worst Luigi game. It's honest to god worse than the New Super Mario Bros. games before it, especially if you're going for 100%. It's just a straight up bad game, and that has nothing to do with difficulty because I've played harder games that are far more fun than it. I genuinely think Luigi U is my go to example for "just because it's a harder game doesn't mean it's a better game". As far as Donkey Kong goes, I personally think Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze is extremely overrated and would personally go with Returns or DKC1 over it. It's not a bad game, it's good, but IMO it's not the best one, and definitely not one of the best 2D platformers of all time. DK fans took a good game and overhyped it to be way more than it actually is. The decision to split the Yoshi series is a bit jarring to me. I don't see it as much different from splitting 3D from 2D Mario or splitting Mario spin-offs from mainline. I understand the picks overall though it's just jarring. Especially since you didn't do as such for Wario, who actually has two wildly different series' with very different appeal. Part of me feels like you couldn't decide for either the worsts or bests. That being said, the worst Yoshi game is easily Touch & Go IMO while if I had to pick for best it's Woolly World. Considering how much I enjoyed Wario Land 4 I'm honestly surprised it wasn't picked. I think unlike my experience with Tropical Freeze where I still enjoyed it but felt it was way way overhyped, Wario Land 4 is almost everything Wario fans hype it to be and I'm glad I played it. If Shake It is above it here, then I'm guessing I'm in for a treat if I play Shake It.

19:45 to be honest I was actually really curious about game & wario when I played it at various stores that allow me to play the demo of it because of 9 volts thing where I actually have to try to play as much of the game as possible but then hide when the mom takes a peek to make sure it looks like I'm trying to sleep. But I also have to make sure not to get too tired and fall asleep. I mean, first and foremost- Diddy is Donkey’s brother!? Where did you get this information, because I think it was a scam job or something. Second, to be critical- my goodness, that Yoshi’s New Island segment. Barely anything about what’s wrong with the gameplay, if anything. If little is wrong with the gameplay and its mostly presentation, you could have better conveyed that. Second, and most importantly, you hype up how bad the music is for a minute. And like… yeah, it’s bad, but like… you either scripted that portion poorly, or need to do another take to just get to the point. And third, and kinda off the second point- what rock are you living under where people aren’t talking much about the price tag and graphic design of Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD? And is there a vacancy? Because ALL I have heard is people complaining about that. And in my opinion, the worst game should be judged on the gameplay moreso than being a cheap cash grab. Besides, given what I saw of Mansion 1 on 3DS, I’d say that one looks way worse.

I remember when Crafted World came out, the soundtrack was the one thing they didn’t like about it, though still better than New Island. I remember watching Arlos review of that game saying that he enjoyed it more than expected. I personally like the visuals. The diorama aesthetic reminds me of projects from elementary school, which gave me lots of nostalgia. Also, I guess my taste in video games were still underdeveloped at the time, but the music did always make me feel drowsy, which is why I’d play it before bed. At least they weren’t annoying like in New Island which I’m glad I never owned since I never owned a 3ds.
