My husband proposed by hiding the ring in the bobbin case of his (yes, his) sewing machine. He was acting all disappointed because he said he had wanted to make something for me but he “couldn’t figure out what was wrong with the threading.” So I swooped in to help him thread it, opened up the bobbin case, and there the ring was 🥰🥰 it was perfect because I love sewing and it was so sweet and personal, just the two of us.

My husband proposed to me when I was a preschool teacher. My best friend took me out to lunch that day. When we got back to school after my lunch break she said she wanted to see my classroom, so I took her to go see it. All my kids were holding poster boards that said "Will you marry me?" and my husband was down on one knee. I was completely shocked! My best friend was his accomplice to make sure I left during lunch so he could set everything up hahaha! My coworkers were avoiding me all day because they didn't want to spoil the surprise. I never in a million years expected a public proposal like that, but it has become such a special memory for me
