Love the illagers bc different from the other mobs they are a actual organized faction. They have Outposts all across the Minecraft world and also a HQ where they cordinate invasions to villages, a strong and cordinated army with a treat as the same level of a iron golem (The ravager) and also were the first non undead mob to use a ranged weapon (The crossbow) Also they are one of the few mobs who can use magic (The witcher who isnt a illager but work with them and the Evoker.)

Something to note: In minecraft dungeons, the Tower Keeper deserves an honorable mention. They can be seen on every floor of the tower aside from boss floors. They can disguise as the different merchents you come across (Uniquesmith, Powersmith, Gildsmith). Their appearance, specifically the top head, look a LOT like an illager.

Illagers are indeed truly interesting. The Iceologer should have been added, it's such an interesting hostile mob. Also, other than the Woodland Mansions and the Pillager outpost, there should be a location called the Illage, which is essentially a Village of Illagers. Of course, their buildings will be made of mostly Dark Oak and stone, and there would most likely be a wall with a single entrance around the Illage.

the reason i think evokers turn blue sheep to red sheep is because blue-peace and red-war. and also i think the illagers are scared of the creaking because the pale garden is close to dark forest (which is the biome the woodland mansion is) so while there building the woodland mansion they saw the creaking or they probably saw it when they were villagers (explanation from why minecraft used the "villager news" to intruduce it. also piglins tried to leave the nether but the rest turned into zombies so they never left and the rest of the zombified piglins followed them and infected them somehow. and thats why hoglins are scared of nether portals. and i think illagers has something to do with the nether and end........

Minecraft dungeons made the illagers my favorite mobs. I was really mad when the glow squid won in 2020. Ever since then all I did with glow squids was kill every single one I saw and threw their ink sacs in lava. I have never let of the glow squid beating the iceologer and I’m still waiting for mojang to add him and the illusioner.

Witches are actually not İllagers, rather they are a neutral faction since they dont hurt villagers, but join in raid so when the illagers win, they could give them the ingredients that they need.

(P.S IF YOU REALLY LIKE MINECRAFT YOU WILL PROBABLY LIKE MY IDEAS BUT BE WARNED I YAP A LOTTT) I kid you not I just paced around my living room for 10 solid minutes coming up with "the illager update" which consists of three drops that make up a whole update: first is the highlands drop, which in summary features a new biome called the highlands, which has a gray sky no matter the time of day and consists of blueish green grass with gray dirt, tall hills and mountains covering the land, and an ashy substance falling from the pale gray sky. The highlands is home to the illagers and they are scattered around the biome in these stone towers that, depending on how tall it is, can have more loot and illagers inside. The second one adds two "new" illager types, the illusioner and the iceologer, the illusioner can be found anywhere on the map normally in a boat on beaches next to two pillagers. It causes different hinderence effects and shoots an enchanted bow, once killed it drops 3 random potions and a random enchanted tool. The second "new" illager is the iceologer, who spawns both on top of mountains and in the highlands with its own unique tower that is marked with iceologer banners(a variation of regular banners) and ice blocks all around it in case your blind and can't see the banners. The iceologer is a miniboss of sorts and has the same powers as shown off in the Mob vote plus more. It also has a "chilled crossbow" which is dropped after death and enchanted with 2 random "chilled enchantments" which belong to a new family of enchants for tools and weapons. There is also a chest on the top floor with a chilled enchant book and some valuables. The final drop of the illager update adds the highlands castle, which has the most protection of any other tower in the highlands and houses the enchanter(the guy from Minecraft dungeons) who can't really fight you but has a ton of bodyguards and if killed drops a level 5 enchantment book. It also adds a new boss: the arch illager (the other guy from Minecraft dungeons) he shoots spells from his staff thingy and summons vex's so he's pretty powerful, but if you beat him you get his crown and his staff. His staff shoots 2 of his spells he uses during his boss, a green lazer blast, and a healing spell, though it is possible to change the spells to the other two using enchantments, it can also run out but it will not break and instead needs to be recharged using obsidian(because yes) and his crown, well it just makes you invisible and it also has a recharge mechanic, you have to recharge it with any ore. In my opinion, in standard minecraft, i.e. the original additions, the illusioner should be the master or boss of the illagers, and the next would be the evoker which is usually considered the boss, but I think the illusioner is the strongest illager in the entire game, but only with the Java Edition on summond

i honestly love the illagers, i made my own personal theory that the illagers at least contributed to the extinction of the ancient builders. i say this because the arch illager has a book explaining his back story and what lead to the events of minecraft dungeons, its stated in the book that the illagers HATE the builders since they constantly hunted them.

I think what should be the titles of the illagers, i.e. the one who wears the banner is of course the captain or the leader, for example, the pillager, the vindicator, and what on earth the evoker, but nevertheless the next one i.e. the evoker would be the boss and his boss and the master of all the illagers i.e. illusioner he is stronger and evilest in my opinion, The illusioner must be evilest because it uses a bow, then it is able to replicate and its other copies as its name suggests are illusions and cannot be hurt then he sends his resistor a blindness that is never seen as a minecraft effect normally but only this mob can cause blindness in Java.
