Minecraft Championship is a monthly Minecraft event held by Noxcrew and organized by Scott Smajor. There has been Season 1, Season 2, and now Season 3. Games range from Sky Battle, Survival Games, Battle Box, Meltdown, Hole in the Wall, TGGTOSAWAF, Parkour Warrior, Parkour Tag, Rocket Spleef, Ace Race, Sands of Time, Big Sales at Buildmart, Grid Runners, and Bingo but Fast.

I mean while hitw score was reduced, pete still did win all 3 rounds which no one else has done so that is still the undeniable best hitw performance

Definitely not, the walls in mcc 5 was a cake walk compared to what we have now. Players aren’t getting worse at hitw the walls keep getting thinner, the map more narrow, and there wasn’t even psyche walls then. 2 peats now are way more impressive then what a 3 peat was.

While that may be true, this is still every movement RECORD, therefore getting a 3 Pete would still be the record even if it was easier back then. However, also you have to take into account that the walls were easier, but the players were also a lot worse than they are now at hitw, therefore it balances it out

@@L0stareI mean technically ace race is an individual game based on time rather than placement so lack of competition and unbalanced teams doesn’t affect scores at all

RSR and PKT records also happened in S2, but you're misunderstanding the title. It says “as of season 3” which means everything up to and including S3, not _from_ S3.

Uhhhhh Purpled broke FBM's TGTTOS record, shattered it actually. In twitch rivals. It was a completely normal game, no changes so I see no reason that the non-canon status of that event would get in the way

I guess we'll ignore the fact that everyone had different set ups which threw many people's game off, the fact that Shane wasn't even in the roster, which made doing well easier for Purpled as he didnt have to compete with another high level tgttos player, where instead Shane (in his record run) scored as high as he did, while competing with Purpled. On top of that, Shane individually performed better than Purpled had in Twitch rivals since Purpled got more team bonuses, if you look at placement average, Shane had a better one, I do believe Purpled is a better TGTTOS player than Shane and every active player in the event, but Shane's score should definitely be counted as the record.

@@FantasyAllWayy I see a whole lot of words but at the end of the day, purpled got 14 more coins. And yes purpled struggled with the new setup, he threw RSR because of it and didn't even get top 5. It's not like he was in a lobby full of James Charles. Everyone was there except FBM. Antfrost, fruit, Dave, Sapnap, JoJo. Biased or not I think purpled deserves that record

@@xmisted_ Glad you get the fact that the different set ups caused everyone to play differently, so you should get that this event already is out of the ordinary, hence non-canon, therefore the record too is non-canon, and yes I get that the people who played in the event are good, but none but Purpled or fruit are as good as Shane at TGTTOS, so doing well for Purpled would be easier and really his main competitor wasn't in, on the other hand Shane did as well as he did with both Purpled and Fruit, the other best TGTTOS players, both in the event. But even if we exclude all I've said so far, if we look at how well they really performed, Shane had an average of 2nd placement per map, whereas Purpled of 3rd, the only reason he scored higher was because he had a way better team which shouldnt count as a show of skill at all, that tops it all off and the record should really stay a non-canon record, Im sure Purpled can break Shane record some day, he's proved it in Twitch rivals, but to really count it lets wait till he does it in a canon event, with equally tough competition, where everyone is in their own set up, trying as hard as they would in a canon event, with evenly powerful teams.
