It doesn't mean disney are not creative. It's just, the last time they make original film, it was flop to hard, iger annouced 3 new films from their most well-known franchises. Toy story 5, Zootopia 2, and Frozen 3, follow by frozen 4 at the same year in 2023 By the way, there are 3 original animation films that was flop, based on my known: - Lightyear (being banned in 9 eastern countries because of the lgbt scene) - Strange world (once again, another lgbt) - Turning red (few people call it cringe, and being compared by dreamworks puss n boots sequel) There's another, but i think this is the reason they make a lots of sequel. Plus, the success of inside out 2, make it more reasonable why they choose this path.

It is not a new Lilo and Stitch film. They are just making the original story live action. A new Lilo and Stitch would be a prequel or another sequel and it would be a cartoon. We are getting the same story with added stuff that is not needed in live action format
