YO YAMMIE PLEASE PLEASE. TELL HER to get that chain off there if it is a VORTEX V3. Im warning you now. They CAN NOT HANDLE the TORQUE that the CP3 puts out. I had the "go fast" set up my chain broke! cracked the swing arm cracked my motor and ripped off the undertail section on my fz09 and really really hurt me. They are made incorrectly and dangerous to everyone on a CP3 powered bike! Please read this bro. At first the rear sprocket will sound iffy (i heard this from 2 other people it failed on) after that the chain gets a deeper sound...and that...BOOM when u lube them it gets a weird look...IF ITS A VORTEX YOU WILL SEE Mine broke at 120mph and if i wasn't the rider i am...i would be dead for sure..i had an angel with me that day. It would of took my foot off. But my boots SAVED my leg

@@yammienoob YEAH see. I knew it. Once i saw the thumbnail i said "they definitely did a sprocket and chain set up.". Bro them things are DANGEROUS!! THEY made a mistake with their strength testing. And it is going to get someone killed. I literally almost died. 120mph. And BOOM IT FELT LIKE I GOT SHOT. My leg was gashed open just from the impact to my boot..Glad you guys WEREN'T hurt!

@@yammienoob So you guys did an entire video on a mod that most of us shouldn't really do LOL? On my XSR900 I put a real high quality EK chain on and haven't messed with the sprockets. The bike is way faster than I can handle as it is.

You mentioned doing a new gen MT09. Please do! I've been waiting for that video. I bought one this year and LOVE it. The quick shifter/auto blipper coming stock is a game changer. I'm curious to see what you think about the lift control and other stuff from the R1 being on it. If I didn't live in Cleveland I'd let you take it for the video for sure!

I have an xsr900. I so rarely go "much" over the speed limits. But there's no such thing as an acceleration limit. When I need my first set of sprockets and chains... I'm doing this. I love the PULL.

Owning an 2020 XSR900 myself and love your positive reactions on the changed sprocket set-up! Can you specify the details of this set-up? Also, how does the bike now handle in standard and B mode? I never use B mode, it would be great if B mode with this sprocket set-up, feels like the STD mode without. Why?? Because I still would like to cruise the twisties without shitting my pants. Man I'd figure just an exhaust and proper tune on CP3 would be more than enough power. Too bad the XSR900 didn't get the same love as the new MT09 which is why I might just upgrade from my XSR700 to a MT09SP if I can find one. (Up/down quickshifter, cruise control, upgraded suspension 💥)

Sprocket mods are great I have a 955i speed triple with 18/45 to the rear tire (stock 18/43) it is the most fun you can have on 2 wheels.

I have a XSR900 geared down (-1 front) and it goes like hell. My is also tuned with Akra pipe and puts down 119 ps on rear wheel. Not many bike on this side of 1000cc can out run me.

Hey Yammie, I’m taking my MSF course on august 11-12. My parents don’t want me to but I’m doing it anyway bc I’m over 18 by 9 years. Wish me luck and I can’t wait to start my motorcycle journey. As much as I want the new Harley Davidson Sportster S, I think I’d be better off buying a used motorcycle just bc I’d be less upset when I dump it (not if but when bc it’ll be inevitable). I bought a Benelli TNT 135 a couple months ago, first bike and already 1,800 miles. I'm super comfortable with riding, ridden my buddy's MT 03 a decent bit and am thinking of getting an MT 07 this Spring. I've had people tell me it might be a little too torquey for my 120lb, 5'5 self. I'll mostly be riding in the city, wanted to see if anybody had any other recommendations for a second big-boy-but-not-too-crazy bike?

@Phil Jones without trying to sound like every other overconfident new rider I will say I've developed pretty decent throttle control. I know it's night and day but 1st gear on the TNT is incredibly jerky at low speeds and riding the MT 03 helps me not get too comfortable with only one throttle type. I've been seriously considering a Z400, but aside from a higher seat height I'm leaning more towards the Duke 390 in that power range. The problem I'm running into is I don't want anything crazy powerful, but I'm looking for a bike to keep for 5-10 years, and with the experience and discipline I do have I'd rather go with something with more power I can grow with rather than something I'll outgrow in a season or 2 like this Benelli lol. But I'm pretty convinced a Z400/Duke390 will be the smallest capacity I'll consider.

Went 1 down and 3 up on my R1. Just to liven things up. Did lose a bit of top end but can't use 300 ish kph much so getting to 200 quicker is way more fun. Will add check your Speedo accuracy.

i guess i should cut you some slack. its a hoon bike u talkin about i guess, but there are plenty of ppl, myself included that still rides these bikes sensibly and dont overpower mod it. how about talkin about how to ride your mt09 in an agressive way, but as safe as possible, and talk about the skills you use to achieve that. this would set a good example and encourage riders to get better and ride safer sorry just a thought. i just think its important with this hooligan bike, if we can improve mt09 hooligan attitudes even a little maybe we can prevent some accidents. im not saying dont have a blast. im not saying dont teach em to wheelie. we know wat the bike is. just some safe riding tips for the new mt09 riders would be a good thing anyway ill shut up im not your father lol
