Same. Its going to have several symbiotes and alien characters so that's enough to get me excited. Even story wise I think it might be decent. I am interested in the concept of Eddie losing Venom which probably won't happen but might be emotional.

I see Wicked Part 1 as Act 1 and Wicked Part 2 as Act 2 which is a very awesome way to do a musical movie in my opinion!!!! I'm a huge fan of the musical so I'm so excited for both parts of the movie!!!! Every time I see the trailer it makes me cry I love Wicked THAT much!!!! I've wanted this movie for years!!!!

Because it's kind of hard to follow a story when people are like just singing. But I did to see the Joker movie. It was bad but I did like the music. But I don't think I could like watch a movie that was completely like just 3 hours of non-stop singing. But if it just had like five or six songs kind of like how the Joker movie did it, I probably could be down with that.

Not just the Rock, but the fact the Rock is in a movie with such irritating garbage self-aware dialogue, and the fact that almost all action movies with him in are absolute slop.

I am actually most excited for Mufasa 😅I know so many people think its a soulless cash grab and even I found the 2019 Lion King remake to be alright like a 6/10 but I am a lot more excited with this prequel. The lions have more noticeable emotions, the story seems interesting, and Kiros the white lion villain looks freaking cool. Haven't watched the Sonic franchise. I am also excited by Venom: The Last Dance. Most people think it would just be a dumb fun watch but I have a feeling it would be surprising. There are going to be a lot of symbiotes, alien creatures and even the God of Symbiotes, Knull so let's see. I don't know why but I don't feel any excitation for Moana 2. The animation and comedy look good but I am worried the story would feel like a rehash of the first movie and even the villains aren't really interesting but I will keep an open mind. Gladiator 2 feels like an unnecessary sequel. The first one was a masterpiece but I feel no interest for the 2nd one really at all. Maybe it would exceed expectations but let's see.

​@@pabungus I don't blame studios for reviving franchises with late sequels considering how their original movies are performing. Its rare for original movies to perform well at box office. Even if they receive critical acclaim or actually have compelling stories, they might be ruined because of the marketing or because of competition from other movies. I am getting a bit annoyed with complaints like "Oh, Hollywood is running out of fresh ideas." "Stop milking franchises". Like a studio is just supposed to lose money over and over and over again until they finally make a profit ? I am just saying that people are not looking it from a financial POV or from the perspective of the studio. I am personally interested in this Mufasa prequel even though most of KZbin does not give a damn !!

@@AnujChatterjee-q5b yeah, it is sad that a lot of original movies are failing, and even though there are a lot of bad ones, especially in the horror genre, every once in a while we get a good one that actually makes money and starts it’s own franchise, John Wick is an example of this. I think it’s because of a genuine lack of interest in film from the general public, rarely do people know they’re coming out, so instead they resort to watching familiar franchise films that are actually just dross. It’s depressing studios have to rely on these, but that doesn’t mean hey have to be soulless cash grabs, which is what they are for almost all modern Disney films.

I don't know why they keep making those creepy CGI animal movies where they're like pretending they're real animals but they're obviously talking. Why don't you just make it an animated movie. It has a really creepy uncanny valley feel. I'd love to see more movies that actually 2D animation again rather than everything being 3D. Like miyasaki stuff

True! I’m sure Juror #2 will be excellent given Eastwood’s track record, even in recent years, but I’m not sure about Here, Zemeckis has been putting out some real stinkers recently…

I’m also not sure if the original comic strip of Here the film is adapting would work well as a film, it’s very much utilising panelling in a specific way that only graphic novels can do, but I’ll see how they translate it into film.

You talk about animation for fantasy. That's what people think the Skyrim show (if we ever get on that is) will be and if it is, honestly I'm not watching it. I think most fantasy esspecially the Elder Scrolls should be live action, because it gives it a grounded serious feel and I like grounded fantasy because Elder Scrolls has very serious and reaistic themes and I think animation would take away from that. Don't get me wrong I do think some fantasy should be animated, for example the upcoming Wings of Fire show on amazon has to be 3D animated. But overall I think most fnatasy should be live action, I mean if GOT had been animated it would not have been as good as it was.

It's currently 100% a nobrainer that Sonic the hedgehog 3 is the upcoming 2024 movie that I'm the most hyped for. I'm going to watch it twice in a theater and I understand completely that this Mufasa movie is almost nothing but a cheap quality cash-grab one. Nothing from the trailers made it seem any amount interesting to me so I'll be boycotting it and looking forward to seeing Sonic 3 beat it at the box office in ticket sales and critics and audience scores. To the Mufasa movie...as the comedian who'll be both Eggman and Gerald Robotnik in Sonic 3 has said in a different one of his movies: "Take care now, by by then."😂 (Ace Ventura pet detective dialogue)

Im just not sure if it will have the same level of writing that made the original so acclaimed and iconic, it just seems like a rehash to me. Like if Paul Mescal says “are you not entertained?” the movie is probably bound to suck complete ass, just from that nostalgia bait alone.

@@pleaseshutup7053 yeah it is really impressive and shows an admirable dedication to their craft, question is if they manage to still consistently put out work at their standard. Scorsese is 81 now and he’s still putting out masterpieces, whereas Coppola is 85 and he just made Megalopolis, one of the worst movies of the year. It seems Ridley can still make good stuff though, The Last Duel was meant to be good and that was only 3 years ago so let’s see how he does with this one, I’m just skeptical after Napoleon, and his legacy sequels like Prometheus and Alien: Covenant being incredibly lacklustre, I guess I’ll just wait and see.
