It's another sad sign that Barry's allowing his cynicism to undermine what used to be a great analytical mind. He _said_ in his 1st video about Brady that it's stupid to not know the difference between team & player success, pointed out how Aaron Rodgers has been screwed over by his own defense & inept coaching. Now Rodgers who led three game-tying drives in the last seconds of three consecutive playoff games is "inconsistent in the 4th quarter" & he's making vids talking about Tom Brady's successes as if they're all due to the QB & every other player is an NPC. Not _quite_ the same with Kyler Murray Justin Fields, but it's still there in his assessment. He calls out lack of on-field talent in other places. But here both QBs have _WAY_ out-performed those who replace them when they're injured yet Barry 100% ignores this in place of team end results based on nothing more than wins or losses. He's forgotten that QBs don't play defense? Or that they are not always responsible for receivers not getting open? It's just not fun when he does this. Literally _ANYONE_ can look at the end result then blame The QB Exclusively & it's sad to hear him do this.

Honestly the Pitts pick is insane…. His rookie year was not ‘respectable’. It was, at worst, very good. In his second year he misses half the season and loses his veteran QB. I just think it’s INSANE to say he is a bust or trade him, he had a bad Marcus Mariotta as his QB, you try getting 1K yards with that as your QB. A full season with a good QB and Pitts proved his worth, a half season with no QB and he struggled (just like every other receiver in Atl). Why not just give him a 3rd full season, see if Ridder can connect with him the way he connected with London and if so then he is back to his rookie self. To say he is overrated is to ignore all the context of last season and is wild

Then out of frustration people seek to lay blame. & when people are in blame-laying mode, they do not care who they lay blame on. So they invent justifications for whatever target they choose creating a vortex of "is so, is not" that *everyone* can participate in. But the only way to _enjoy_ it is to won at shifting more blame onto _your chosen target_ or feeling as if you have. & when you do that, you likely won't search for someone deserving either. As a long time 49er fan, Deebo was running because mostert was always injured and they hadn’t developed trust in Mitchell yet (also frequently injured). Now that they have CMC and Mitchell both healthy, Deebo will likely get very few RB reps and the ones he will get will be some wishbone form bs. I believe, though, that everyone should have a Deebo. Look at the saints! Taysom hill held them together, despite being both mid as a tight end and mediocre as a QB. Having a well-rounded gadget that can threaten everywhere on the field and that will bail you out in a pinch is incredibly valuable

He had absolutely no help from Day 1 with Nagy nor last season, and now the team finally made some moves to help him out up front on the Line and at the skills position. The lions did not “whiff” on Jamo, you literally pointed out that both his touches last year were for 40 yards, and that was because they didn’t want to involve him in the offense very much. He also had a long TD called back in the last game of the season because of a holding call that didn’t affect the play. Also how can you possibly hold the injury against him when they drafted him as he was recovering? He’s a game breaker who only fell to 12 because of the injury. He would’ve easily been a top 5 pick if healthy. I see 0 reason to suspect that he won’t be a force once he’s on the field.

He has had injury issues, but he's spent a lot of time playing out of position over the past 4 years because of the 49ers not having a very good secondary. Harrison Smith is still a good safety. His strengths are stepping in front of errant deep balls that are thrown while a quarterback is under pressure and being the 8th man in the box/ late blitzer on the pass rush. The Vikings pass rush and cornerbacks have been so bad the past 3-5 seasons that Harrison has played deep safety to help prevent big plays. He is still capable at all that but he isn't playing to his strengths in the current system and age is starting to catch up now as well.

They changed the way mvp voting was done last year by moving it from a player being able to only receive first place votes to being able to receive 1st-15th place votes and someone gave him a 10th place mvp vote. Still wild

@@JarradBruessel32 Seperation was poor, and by the second half of the year Mooney was out, guys that were on the field the most was ESB and Pettis. Not good. Fields had the least amount of pass attempts in the league among full time starts at 318, still went for 2,242 at 7.1YPA. Constant a-gap pressure had him needing to escape all year long. Can’t get settled that way. That combined with a record breaking rushing year isn’t too bad at all.

Chase Young gets the benefit of the doubt because of his potential and the fact that he hasn’t had a full season since his rookie season. This is his make or break year. I’d hardly consider him overrated since Washington declined his 5th year option.

As a Bills fan, I 100% agree with Von Miller. I think that might be a mistake down the line. Payed an insane amount of money for an already aging DE with health problems. Showed up for half a season and got hurt again and will probably miss half of this upcoming season. Seems like he's more focused on transitioning to a GM role rather than being a leader on the field.

this season is going to gave us an idea on Fields about if he's good or not. we gave him a pass for last year because of how terrible was the rest of the team around him, but now with an improved team, including DJ Moore, he has no more excuses.

We already have an idea on if he’s good or not. Nobody gave him a pass last year. If you actually watch him play, instead of watching a sport center clip of him rushing. If you actually watch him play. He can’t read defenses, if his first read isn’t immediately open, he panics- causing sacks, INTs and fumbles. He doesn’t know how to check down. He CONSTANTLY over and underthrows. He is NOT a good QB. But because of who he is, and his 1 or 2 highlights a game- people meat ride him

I don't remember anyone ever putting Deebo in their top 10 WRs. In fact, most people are pretty aware that as a pure receiver, Aiyuk is much better. But Deebo is an Offensive Weapon. I figured with the 49ers you'd pick, I dunno, Hunfunga or Arik Armstead, but Deebo? No, Deebo is an absolute force. He's just not a pure WR.

I personally think that with Diggs and Jefferson dominating targets, I think Thielen is still a top 20-30 receiver. He's playing the Reggie Wayne role where he is an above average receiver, and if one day he is the 1st option as Wayne finally became with Luck, I think he would do amazing. As we saw with Wayne, you could easily be a hall of famer in this situation.
